A good, standard neighborhood bar frequented mostly by those who live in the barrio. I´ve come here on a couple different occasions to watch football games. Usually there is enough space to stand inside comfortably and order a nice white wine. On certain days the locals really come out to this establishment just to chat and enjoy life. On those days your personal space will definitely be invaded. It´s Spain. With your drink you´ll receive a tapa, but be wary, your mileage may vary. I´ve received anything from some nice warm patatas bravas, to the sad lonely chips. At 2 euros for a glass a wine it´s definitely not the cheapest place, but it is the nearest. Come to meet your neighbors and if possible bask in the sun at one of the outdoor tables. ¡Aproveche!

Una taberna que fue un despacho de vinos a granel. No sé el motivo pero encuentro en Madrid antiguas bodegas con las mismas características: barra larga, bar estrecho, estantes hasta el techo con botellas de coñac, buenas cañas y vermut de grifo, pepinillos, variantes y boquerones en vinagre para picar. Bodega Central cumple con todo esto. Está situada en una esquina frente al mercado de Argüelles y es muy popular entre los vecinos.
