This was the first hotel I had ever stepped foot in when I traveled around Spain. From the minute the bus drove, the hotel looked grand! It definitely gave an amazing first impression. Right across the street, there was this building that looked like a museum or some historical landmark that gave more to the awwh! Rolling enormous luggage down the entrance step and very narrow decline was difficult but the lobby looked great! The entrance windows/doors had this blue tint to them and it was bright and spacious! My group had about 30 to 40 people, so thank god there was room for us to gather and get our room keys. The room was simple and clean, it had two beds and a bath. The view was the back of building but it didn’t take away from the experience. There was also a television that had a couple channels all in Spanish. It was nice to see news from a different perspective! They also have Internet and pay phones, that were definitely came in handy. I sent an email to my family and friends, to let them know of my arrival! There Continental complimentary breakfast was also great! They had eggs, bacon, orange juice and their bread with butter… I gained 2lbs that morning! Their dinning room was a good size and it sort of reminded of home which was nice… being so far away. This place gets 5 stars not only for its great character and services but its location! Right when my group and I got there, we dropped off our luggage and then went right into exploring! Everything was walking distance! We visited a Cathedral, a museum, monuments and did not use one taxi or bus. If I get to travel back to Spain, especially Madrid, I will definitely book a couple nights here!
