The jamon was wonderful! I ordered a ribeye steak with Fries for lunch, it was really quite good, the food wasn’t expensive and the restuarant was not crowded. I would definitely return!

Cinco Jotas is a Spanish chain restaurant. This review is for the location in the Plaza Santa Ana only. The Plaza Santa Ana is the liveliest square in Madrid. On a nice evening the restaurants and bars surrounding it are hopping even after midnight on a Monday or Tuesday. The beautiful façade of the ME Hotel on the square is lit, there’s often music being performed(for tips) and the crowds afford one a lot of interesting people watching. We’ve even seen footballer Pepe Reina enjoying a cerveza nearby. Cinco Jotas prepares all the staples of Spanish tapas. The solomillo and tortilla(Spanish potato and egg omlet) are very good. There are several good cocktails plus the always good sangria. If the weather is nice and you are not interested in waiting a half hour or longer for some of the more popular similar style restaurants on the square, this is a good option.
