If you want to see classic flamenco and not just a touristy show, this is the place to choose. I can’t say enough good things about Corral de la Moreria. The food was delicious, our waiter was so attentive and professional and the show was amazing. The staff could not have been nicer. My mother and daughter ordered from the a la carte menu and I ordered from one of the prix fixe menus which came with a ½ bottle of wine. Our waiter brought us a full bottle of a very good Rioja and did not charge us for the difference. He also did not charge us for the 3 glasses of excellent red sangria we had when we arrived. As my meal came with dessert, he also brought an extra dessert for the table. The flamenco was outstanding. Although this was my first show, my mother and daughter had seen a few others and said this was the best they had seen. Such a lovely evening! You will not go wrong here. Enjoy!

Saw the Flamenco dance on Friday for the first time of my life and it was amazing! The dancers were so passionate and talented! Took my breath away with every single movement. The hotel that I stayed in Madrid recommended and made the appointment for us, it worth every dollar spent! Will recommend and hopefully can comeback to see the show again in near future. Thanks for the wonderful experience.

The food was superb and the show was excellent. There were english and spanish menus available which was very helpful; as there are several rare and interesting ingredients listed, which already tells you that they are not serving boring dishes. I visited several countries on this trip and this was one of the top three best meals. The dessert was probably the best. I definitely recommend this venue if you are looking for soulful flamenco and a delish meal.

My first experience watching Flamenco and I would recommend this place. It feels intimate enough and the dancers along with the musicians seem very passionate about their craft. My only reservation would be about the seating and I don’t know how they decide on reserved seats. I bought tickets online a couple weeks early and we were seated on the side of the scene, not as good as in front. Since tables in front of the scene were available they agreed to move us(another family made the same request and was also moved to a better table.) Also, because the place is old, there is a number of big pillars partly obstructing the view, but there is nothing they can do about it. You just have to move your seat a little and cross your fingers that you get a good spot. For that reason, I would recommend to go a little early and if seated at a «bad«table, ask to move. Still the waiters were very nice and accommodating, they seem to want to make sure we have a great experience and indeed they succeeded.

I’ve never seen a Flamenco performance before nor have I even seen one on video. So I did not know what to expect. I’m a hard rock and blues type of guy, but I could tell how technically demanding this style of music was. Everyone from the singers to the dancers produced a good part of the complex percussion. Wow. This was rich, intense, a feast for the senses, and I was definitely blown away. Kudos to Intercontinetal hotel concierge Juan, who gave us the tip that this place had food just as great as the performance, and arranged our reservation. Other places have various degrees of mismatch per him. Kudos to the performers, hats off to you with much respect, but thumbs down to the AUDIENCE on this night who despite having been instructed to use no flash on cameras… well guess what? flash bulbs were flashing all over the place. An overzealous tourist even left her seat mid performance, stood in front of me to block my view and take a video?! through her iPad which she raised like Moises hoisting the ten commandments. Video and cameras were also announced as only allowed during the first 5 minutes of the performance, but Miss Grandma iPad kept at it. Thou shalt not be an unruly tourist my friends.

We made reservations the day of so we ended up in the back. We asked to be moved and just before the show started the moved is closer but we had an obstructed view. Still not too bad and the show was great and intense. We took our fifteen year old and he thought it was okay, so it’s started with kids.

Deceptive and rip off. Their website says Show + Dinner, but just for the show.($ 115 for 2 for shows only). We paid $ 175 for dinner for 2 on top of the show. Total cost $ 300 for show and dinner. Stay away from the pricey appetizers.

This place was recommended by our hotel staff and they made the reservation for us. We were seated on the left side of the stage and got a fairly good view of the actions. The top seats were reserved for those who also have dinner there(we did not). Each person gets a complementary with the show ticket and you pay at the end of the performance. The place was full on a Thursday evening and the ambiance was intimate and relaxing. However, once the performance started, we all felt the intensity and emotions of the dancers and singers at our tables. Everyone on stage appeared really into the performance and really gave 110% of their energy. It was enjoyable. just a hint, don’t seat too close to the stage — especially the front center — as you will get sprayed by the sweat of the dancers when they spins. We were really glad that we were seating on the side of the stage.

This was an absolute superb tablao with flamenco. The food was 4⁄5 star however, since our food was paired with the excellent flamenco dance, I give this place a full five star rating. The ambiance was so lively that it made our entire night so much fun. The tables to get reserved well in advance so it is highly recommended to book well in advance. Next time visiting Spain, we are def. going to be going there again for sure. Not to be missed while in Madrid. Must see!

Was here yesterday for dinner and flamenco show. Dinner was very nice in a separate room, good food, good wine. Then we were escorted to another room were the performance would take place. It soul stirring. I enjoyed the singing, the dancing, the guitar playing, what I didn’t like were the individuals who went and felt it was ok to talk loud and disrespect the performers and the test of the people there. They did get there share of hissing at… so if you go please be respectful, it’s a very intense performance…

There’re certain elements of flamenco that no other dance style can live up to, and Corral de la Moreria has them all, to their extremes. The guitarist, the folk singers, and the dancers are all the best you can find in the country. Tablao is also my favorite form of enjoying dancing and music, pairing with wine and cheese within an intimate space, enjoying the performance to its utmost intensity. In fact, I’m hesitant to call it performance, rather it’s more like an expression full of passion. The group is not here to entertain anyone. They’re having their moments and the audience just happen to be there. I went on a Thursday night and reserved the ticket very last minute. The waiters were really nice and they serve good wines here. You simply cannot miss this if you’re in Madrid.

I get to review this place on Unilocal? No way! You can’t say you’ve been to Spain without a classic flamenco show, so as I was planning our trip to Spain with my girlfriend, this place was recommended by plenty of travel sites and blogs! I definitely enjoyed the show. The performers felt original and passionate, and there was a lot of humor involved too. It was for sure a great experience. There are a couple not so great things though. For some reason, we got way too lost trying to find this darn place. And when we got there, I swear the mob was in front of us with bodyguards and black cars for a special event of thing. I felt a little bit scared. Inside, the venue is fairly small, and if you book your tickets late, you get placed in a bad seat. Fortunately, I got the tickets a couple weeks in advance so we got a decent, but not amazing seat. The people who order dinner get seat preference, but the dinner is way too overpriced for my opinion. Beyond this, it’s great to think some of the world’s most famous people have been here in the past. Would I come back? Probably not for a while… There are other fun things to do in Madrid too!

Best Flamenco show we saw in Spain. Did dinner and the show — dinner was good, not great, but you really go for the show. You can just choose to do the show, but you must make reservations ahead, it’s a must.

I love flamenco, so when I booked a trip to Madrid I was so excited to book a show! I believe this is probably one of the more touristy options, but very good none the less! All the performers were clearly very passionate about flamenco and put 100% in the show!!! Additionally the entire staff was very friendly! Would definitely recommend if you are visiting Madrid. Please more that dinner is typically eaten on the later side in Madrid. We didnt eat at the show, so if you plan to eat prior to the show, make sure places are open. There weren’t too many options so we opted to go to a great place afterwards.

I went here with some friends from school after our graduation, and it was a fun time! Most of my friends were locals, and had already been once or twice, even though they usually tended to go to more off-the-grid places… The show is lively and fun! I thought the guitarists were really top-notch, though I was a little unimpressed by some of the dancers, but it could have been an off night. As a whole, it was a great experience and a good way to pass a few hours. (For anyone really looking for a great meal, the dinner is definitely not the object of the entertainment, so I’d suggest getting a meal somewhere before or after. The food is completely decent, but also pretty expensive for what it is.)

I guess this is fun if you go with a date and you are trying to show how worldly and sophisticated you are, but to call it the best show in the world is an overstatement. I just felt like it was the same thing over and over. A guy and a girl tap dancing while dudes are singing and playing instruments. Sometimes it was a guy and two girls, sometimes it was three girls, sometimes it was just dudes, but it was always the same type of thing… Passionate tap dancing. The room is also very small and there are large pillars blocking part of the view from almost every seat. If you come late, you end up sitting in the kitchen with even more of your view blocked. Maybe I’m just not a fan of the flamenco, but there are dozens of shows in vegas that I would recommend over this. That being said, the food was spectacular. I finished my meal and left while they were still up there tap dancing like fools…

One of the two most highly rated Tablaos in Madrid, Corral de la Moreria offers the more traditional style flamenco of the two. Dinner is over priced and better meals can be had at other restaurants, so I recommend coming for the show only. The price of admission is 42 Euros, but well worth it.(Note: this includes one drink during the performance.) The performers gave 100% and the guitar solos during the breaks were also superb. Definitely a must experience for the visitor to Madrid.

Excellent tablao in Madrid. The performers were top notch and it was well worth it. You must make reservations or you will not get a table. We went on a Saturday and it was full. We had some tapas along with some wine and enjoyed the show. If you pay extra, you get a full dinner but it does get expensive, about 90 dollars per person. It states you are not allowed to take pictures with flash but everyone was using their flash so we did as well. I also took a lot of video of the performance and it makes for great memories. Recommended!
