I would give this place 3.5 stars. The food is pretty good, and I agree with the other reviewer that the service is mediocre. For example, my friends and I were eating the bread (not free btw) and I wasn’t done, but the waiter literally took my plate away mid-bite to serve the main course! I mean hilarious and confusing at the same time. I don’t take offense because this isn’t my home country so if this is cultural. then whatever!
I wanted to wait to see it turn into a nightclub but honestly, I can’t sit and eat my meal at 11pm lol
Next time, I will suck it up and see if its a cool after hours place.

The location is high end and the other bars/cafes look cute too! Not exactly close to city center but still worth checking out. I tried the tuna and steak tartare. My friend had the octopus. No complaints.

The best location I’ve been to in Madrid so far. Highly recommendable. Prices are on the medium/higher edge of the Spanish average. The food is delicious. The drinks are good. But the best are the people who come there. Maybe the most beautiful scene in Madrid at the moment. Fancy dressed people everywhere. There are a lot of class A celebrities there (as a foreigner I only know some of Madrid’s football players).
Unfortunately the service is rather bad. The bar service is ok, even though they have not a real knowledge about other drinks than Gin&Tonic. Hardly can mix you a Whisky Sour. The restaurant staff is actually worse. Really slow, really not caring. This has to be improved.

The Eccola Restaurant turns into a classic classy night club at some point of the night. The crowd is typically upper class, mostly in the 30s-40s. Actually there is no real dancefloor, but you can dance every where you like. The large tables provide some reasonable space for jackets and handbags. Music is mostly electronic with some influence from the charts.
Beers are around 5 EUR, cocktails and longdrinks above 10 EUR.

Dicen que es el sitio de moda y supongo que tiene una explicación: el concepto, novedoso, combina comida y copas (tapeo, más bien) en un ambiente nada cutre. Más bien al contrario: es un único espacio, en un sótano, pero que se divide en cinco ambientes, por lo que hay una especie de bar, una mesa alargada, sillones, zona más oscura en plan bar de copas… ¡Muy original!
Yo lo conocí en una fiesta privada, pero la verdad es que el servicio funciona fenomenal, y la comida, clásica de cátering (creo que es la misma que se sirve normlmente) combina tradición (croquetas, por ejemplo) con lo que entendemos por innovación (o sea, combinación de sabores). Los mojitos, buenísimos, era de esperar.
Me parece un sitio precioso y con muchas posibilidades (el día que lo visité se ofreció un mini concierto, porque tiene espacio para eso y más).
