Worst experience ever at a McDonald’s.
The first time I visited this place, the guy that helped me tried to shortchange me. And the amount he was trying to shortchange was extremely obvious, it was € 6,0. When I asked for my change he looked upset and almost not willing to give me my money back. I know it’s not that much, but it’s the principle that counts.
The second time my friend and I ask for cheeseburgers, he charges us and after we had paid he says, «all I have is chicken sandwiches.» We said okay, that’s fine. So he then turns around and gets two sandwiches that were already put together. Who knows how long the sandwiches were sitting there. To make the story short he tried to shortchanged us a second time, we tried again to get change, but we said forget it, this second time we let him have the money.
There was some locals around and they even mentioned. «Your lucky you got your change back, some people don’t attempt to get their change. WHAT?! So that means I wasn’t the first person they’ve tried to shortchange.

Hopefully this was just an isolated incident but the woman who served us at this McDonald’s was very rude. I speak a bit of Spanish (though am not fluent) and was trying to politely clarify what I wanted and she got frustrated and huffy with me.
Also the layout of this location is a little confusing, there isn’t a clear place to pick up your food.

This place is huge! On one side of the Mcdonalds, seems like it has pastries. Yum! This place is very convenient and has the kiosks that you can order your food a with credit card rather then waiting in line. Seating feels and looks like Ikea furniture and some leather lounge booths. Fancy-​smancy! This Mcdonalds has similar menu meals as in the U.S. Somethings are different. They have the chicken wings there. It’s pretty tasty.

Washington, DC
While not as classy as the McDonald’s on Gran Vía, this one is still pretty damn nice. It also has the added benefit of having «quick order» kiosks that allow you to place orders that are automatically fulfilled, similar to purchasing tickets from a kiosk at the cinema.
This location has two floors like Gran Vía, and a McCafe.
