This was a convenient respite from shopping on the Gran Via. Pretty straightforward fare, nothing fancy but its located at a good location with outdoor table seating.
If you are in a hurry, do not opt for table service. You’ll be happier and get your order quicker if you went in line and ordered. We sat outside, and our waiter was the chef, cook, and bottle washer. He took our order, and we did not see him anywhere in sight for 10 minute or so. It turned out he was also tasked with preparing our drink orders — Café bon bon and juice.

Leckere bocadillos, Sandwiches, Salate und sonstige Kleinigkeiten. Perfekt für zwischendurch oder als Belohnung nach einem Besuch im Kloster Descalzas Reales, welches sich ca. 100m die Straße runter befindet.

Right on the edge of Callo Square, clean, fresh food, drinks. Fast service and friendly attitudes, inside and outside seating. Good people watching space.

Not a bad place to stop in for inexpensive coffee and tasty pastries!
A café con leche is 1.30 euros, and a chocolate croissant is 1.35 euros. For breakfast they have café + croissant combos that are around 2 euros. Although I didn’t try them, they also had a pretty good selection of sandwiches.
