Sagasta 28 serves variety of breakfast options. Eat like a Spaniard and order pan con tomate and café cortado. If you are home sick or otherwise very hungry, try either English or American breakfast. The American breakfast has two wonderful eggs fried crispy in olive oil, served with fried tomatoes in the same oil, toast and butifarra and bacon. With coffee and orange juice, this costs 7.5 Euros. This is a higher price than a Spanish breakfast but it will carry you through the day :-) lunch menu looks great also and is prie fixe at 11 Euros for three courses. Tasty food — if you’re in the neighborhood, give it a try.

Ah! Y cervezas artesanales. Todo servido con sonrisas y sin esperas. La verdad: muy, muy bien.

We had different beers from dark to wheat to hops; they were all tasty. The scramble eggs with sausage is a must try; anchovies in olive oil is surprisingly delicious; cheese board is good; calamari tasted fresh and the rings were big and meaty; Jamon croquettes were good.

Waiter was incredibly accommodating and friendly and food was great, reasonably priced. I will be back! Have the pianada that had pecorino cheese, chorizo and mushrooms. It’s amaze balls.
