This place is AMAZING!!! The staff are beyond amazing, we had the Argentinian skirt steak and salad with calamari and we literally licked the plate, the staff have us 3 free rounds of shots and a free bottle of wine! If your in Madrid this place is a must!

this place has a great vibe about it– upscale modern yet home-​y.
the food wasn’t too great. my husband and I split the honey mustard chicken– the chicken was a little over cooked– and the rigatoni– the sauce was a little sweet and it didn’t taste anything different from the pasta I make at home. he ordered a glass of Cabernet and I had vodka sprite with cherry (an adult Shirley temple, if you will).
BUT, I will say it again– the ambiance is great. the server was very friendly and took great effort to get us exactly what we wanted when it was clear we didn’t speak Spanish– more of a Spanglish.

Buenas raciones y platos bien presentados. Los camareros son muy atentos aunque todo implica un coste que luego se refleja en la factura. Es una buena alternativs para comer al lado del mercadde san miguel sin pagar una fortuna.

Great find! Delicious sangria and food. Ordered the sampler for two people as well as the dessert sampler. Glad we found this place, unfortunately it was our last night in Madrid. I’m not big on potatoes, but these were the best I had out of our whole dining experience in Spain.

It’s our last night here in Spain, and we were looking for tapas before having to leave town tomorrow morning. We’ve walked all over the city and had 12 meals here in the city. This is by far our best experience. We happened to stumble upon it, as it’s right next to plaza Mayor and right in front of mercado San Miguel.
We were greeted by great staff, they asked us if we would like to sit inside because, surprisingly it was kind of chilly. We declined and decided to eat outside. After having our drinks delivered we quickly picked up and moved inside. Once inside we ordered. The sampler of tapas for two! Completely satisfied we decided to do that. I’ve ordered patatas bravas at 6 places, this is by far the best! The sauce is delightful. We also ordered the assortment of deserts! What a great choice. If friends or family come to Madrid I’m definitely suggesting Taste Gallery!

Fantastic cozy place right off the street in a little square, right in the middle off the highpaced citylife is this place. Right across San miguel foodmarket, this place does not dissappoint. Quality is great, the dishes are genuine with nice interpretations off Classic spanish and world food classics such as the burger, a good place to visit, for a lunch, or hanging out in the evening.

El sitio está muy cerquita del Mercado de San Miguel, y supongo que tienen bastante suerte porque este suele estar atestado de turistas, así que tiendes a salir a buscar otros pastos más verdes en los que no morir aplastado por la masa.
Nosotros paramos brevemente a tomar algo en la terraza, y tengo que decir que fueron extremadamente lentos. No solo en traernos la bebida, sino todavía más en traernos la cuenta. La chica se fue con el dinero y volvió casi quince minutos después, y eso que no paraba de pasar por nuestro lado.

Had a wonderful lunch here today away from the madness of the market. The Burrata salad was excellent as were the spicy potatoes. The Argentinian streak was super although a little undercooked from the temp I ordered. My kids ate from the kids menu and loved the pizza and pasta.

Not such a good experience.
I ordered three appetizers — Pappas Bravas, Croquettes and The chicken.
The Croquettes were made with Cod, which works for me but not one of the people I was with — that would have good info to have on the menu. The Pappas Bravas were OK but nothing special. The chicken was under cooked and had an odd flavor.
I think there are much better options in the Mercado de San Miguel.

We happened into this place after a go at Mercado San Miguel (too crowded) and couldn’t have been happier. We enjoyed it so much that, despite my rule never to go to the same restaurant on a trip, we returned again later. Their croquetas, the fried green tomato, and the chicken with honey sauce were all delicious. When we returned we had a duck risotto that was terrific! I am still thinking about it. Jesus, Danny, and Pepe were all beyond accommodating and friendly. We ended up closing the place and never felt rushed or unwelcome. Make this a stop for sure if you are in the area.

Sinceramente 3 € por una cocacola de 20cl me parece un robo, sea en la puerta del mercado de San Miguel o en la china popular.
Por contra hay muy buen ambiente, los camareros son majos y la decoración del local es muy original.
Como en muchos garitos de Madrid al pedir un refresco o copa te sirven una tapita de acompañamiento. Tienen una carta variada pero muy enfocada a guiris y con un coste más bien carillo, para lo que és.
