Food was decent, drinks were good and the flamenco performance made up for anything else. Great experience.

A complete waste. PLEASEDONOTWASTEYOURMONEY on this show! The show was expensive — 41 Euro — and it was a total joke. We left after 15 min. The«singers» and«guitarist» in the back made hardly any musical or audible sound and the first male dancer did just a few tap dance moves and waved his hands around. Then he came back on stage dressed as a woman and just stood there and waved his hands around and snapped his fingers. TOTALJOKE. I actually think it’s a scam. Over half of the audience left when we did. Absolutely awful. This is not real flamenco. Beware of this scam. We asked for our money back and the owner explained his show is exceptional. If you want to see real flamenco visit Casa Patas where we saw a show and were amazed by real flamenco singing and dancing, exemplified

This show made me see the passionate side of Madrid and Spanish culture. Located near Plaza del Sol in a heavy tourism district. This show starts at 9pm and finishes around 12:15am. The food gets marginal marks. More about that later. The beginning of the show starts a little slow. HANGON. I PROMISE! You’re gonna love this!!! Production itself is quite simple. Two guys singing and clapping out different rhythms the entire time. Two guitarists that mostly alternate. Mostly one dancer at a time, but there is a duet that will wrench your heart out. While these dancers may not be the most glamorous you’ve ever seen, the passion and energy they convey just shreds your heart and makes you understand the beauty and romance of Flamenco. The team effort of the syncopated clapping rhythms, the entire body expression of the dancers, and the guitar all come together in complicated rhythms. The dancing is expressed all the way down to facial expressions for every step of the way. Most dances, though all Flamenco, are very different. The costumes are different for each iteration, and the dancers continue to express just as much passion and enthusiasm up until the very end– even after the crowd has shrunk to just a few tables. Just like most servers we have met so far, the staff here is so warm and kind. The food itself is meh for the price. I personally would not encourage you to get a huge meal here since it’s just okay at best and not that great! — Vichyssoise(soup) of leek and potato– 2⁄5 needs more flavor. — Pan-seared steak– 3⁄5 while the flavor was excellent, the cook on it had problems. I asked for medium rare, and one steak ranged from rare to well done on it.(I thought the cook was good when they asked, but turns out I cut into the MR part!) also, the fat on the sides was still solid white– cooking technique needs work since temp hasn’t properly been met. — Tuna from prix fixe– 2⁄5 nice flavor but overcooked. Come for the dances and enjoy with some wine. The food is not really worth the money, but the experience certainly will make you fall in love with Madrid more.

Came here for flamenco. Octopus and the potatoes served with it were excellent. Sangria was good too. Overall a nice experience.

After reading sketchy reviews on the food, we opted for the drink and show option only. We walked in 45 minutes early to our show, and saw two people dining on pork chops. It looked great, but we’re glad we opted to stay local instead(Los Zuritos off Calle Atocha), and it was much cheaper! We spent 1⁄3 less at an off-site restaurant. When we walked in, there were only two tables filled. We knew we were early, but figured that it would get packed soon thereafter. Fifteen minutes later, they started the show(thank goodness we arrived early!!) with only one additional table. This is a fairly big room, and only four tables(us included) were filled. The show, the dancers, the music and the singers were WONDERFUL and they really get into their performance. The only reason I’m not giving five stars is because I imagine the atmosphere would have been much better had the place been somewhat busy or even half full! Also: the wine is gross. Get sangria!

The dancers were fun to watch. We had a great time watching real spanish flamenco! The food was okay. It was a bit expensive as the show cost an additional 30 euro per person! This is the only reason for the three stars. Overall it was a good experience.

Torres Bermejas is a Flamenco venue near central Madrid. They are the cheaper and secondary option, so if you are coming to Madrid to see Flamenco, i would recommend going to Casa Patas instead. The show was extraordinarily long and drawn out, so much so that we left after 2.5 hours. The skill of the individual dancers was far superior to that at Casa Patas, but the overall show and experience was inferior in every other aspect. I expect a Flamenco show to be emotional and soulful and really draw you in. This show certainly did not do that. We are impressed with the skill of the lead dancers, both male and female, but the overall show left much to be desired.

NOTE: There is a 20% discount on their site. Don’t forget to print it out. Overall, the show was pretty good. Definitely worth watching once, but I don’t think I would return. The flamenco dancers were very good; however, they really mixed up the skill level throughout the dance and there was no indication that the event was«over.» Basically somebody pretty good went, a power expert went, somebody decent went, somebody handsome and skilled went, then there was a pause for 15 minutes where people were confused. Then everybody came on stage again and the performances were much less skilled, resulting in a massive downer at the end. You get 1 free drink also with the package. Conclusion: Worth going once, but not mind blowing.

The show is fabulous, the food is just okay. If you go as part of a tour, it’s probably less expensive, but I wouldn’t just walk in here and pay the minimum to see the show.
