We went out of our way to find this place based on the amazing Unilocal reviews. We were disappointed in our experience. We sat outside on the terrace because there was no upcharge for this. They have a tapas menu for 2 – 4 euros each. The portions are very small for the tapas. They bring you a hot roll and olive oil for dipping. This is free. We had the steak, which was very chewy and fatty. For 15 euros I was not impressed. It came with a couple pieces of potato and a little shredded cabbage. They overcook their meat when you order it medium. My friend said the scallop tapa tasted like it was frozen and not fresh. The stuffed pepper was amazing with a red tomato sauce. The bean casserole tapa was not impressive. When they bring the check, they give you mini ice cream treats and a small shot of dessert wine. I would not return to this restaurant when there are so many amazing restaurants in the old city center.

If you are after a true Spanish experience in Malaga you cannot miss out on this place. Fabulous food, excellent wine selection and an amazing host make this the perfect quintessential Spanish experience I will come back for again and again. The steak was perfectly cooked and tender, the dessert platter was awesome and the free after dinner drinks that followed were an amazing end to a fabulous meal. If you like Spanish food and what I think is a perfectly cooked stake(just medium rare) then you have to visit here. I will be returning here time and time again for the hospitality, wine and food :-))
