This is a simple, no frills hotel. Our room was small, and had all tile flooring.
But our 1st floor room did have a nice patio/​outdoor sitting area where we had breakfast. The patio was about as big as our room itself.
The Mercadona (supermarket) is around the corner, which is super convenient. The front staff gave us good restaurant recommendation and maps.
The Goartin is about 20 minutes walk to downtown area. But it’s only a 10 minute walk to the bus & train station, which is why we picked it (for easy access to the airport). There’s a local train that is 3 stops away from the airport (1.7 euros I believe). Or take a direct bus (over 2 euros).
Good pick for a quick overnight stay in Malaga!
