Pizzeria Tete

I was traveling with 2 colleagues on business and we were staying in Mataro. We were hungry for pizza and defaulted to Unilocal for guidance. There aren’t a lot of restaurants reviewed in the area so we followed the ratings and the one other review — and we were glad we did. They don’t have English menus and the owner only speaks Catalan and Spanish (we only speak English, sorry) but, with some help from another WONDERFUL customer who said that she was a friend of the owner, we were able to translate well enough to order.
The restaurant is small but nice, clean and nicely decorated.
The pizza was exellent and so was the service (and local beer). By American standards, it’s a medium crust with plenty of toppings. We were certainly not disappointed and would certainly return! I had the pizza bolognese and really liked the flavor. Also had the Chorizo sausage, bacon, and onions — very good and the ham with mushrooms, green peppers and onions.
Certainly worth the stop in our opinions!

Excelente pizzeria. Local pequeñito donde es preferible no ir demasiado tarde para no tener que esperar, pero merece la pena. Gran variedad de pizzas y todas ellas estan buenisimas y a un precio muy económico. Teneis que probarlo!
