El Pikoteo

Service was awful, food was average and overpriced. We were never advised by the service cause we ordered way too much, they did not offerred a box either. Waited very long for the check. Had to get out using a different door… Messy place, not advised by us (young couple)

Arrived for an evening meal without booking. Waited a couple of minutes before getting a table which was great considering how busy the restaurant was. Despite what seemed to be a significant number of waiting staff — table service was poor, there seemed to be to no system. We were served by at least four different staff members.
The food was fine but arrived before the table had been prepared, however quality was quite good. Wine was too warm. As the night wore on more and more people arrived and stood around waiting for tables. Tables and chairs were moved around and tables crammed with diners (9 on table for 6) — all a bit chaotic but also entertaining. I guess the didn’t want diners to go elsewhere despite being full — the penalty is service of course.
Meal was about 50 € for two — bit expensive for the overall experience.

La cervecería el Pikoteo es un lugar agradable, decorado estilo «Cruzcampo» con mesas y barriles. Dispone de una terraza. Válido tanto para tomar unas cañas, picar algo con alguna ración o media ración o para algún almuerzo o cena en compañía como en grupo. En su carta abundan pescados, arroces y mariscos sobre todo, aunque también ofrecen carnes.
El precio en una escala de 1 (económico) a 10 (caro) se encontraria en un 4 aproximadamente.
