Jardins de Joan Brossa

Situado en lo que antaño fue el Parque de atracciones, tenemos el enésimo parque en el entorno de Montjuïc (sin que me parezca mal, al revés, estoy enamorado de mi distrito) con varios niveles como es habitual en la zona y una peculiaridad, el enfoque lúdico a los elementos de divertimento para los niños. Podemos encontrar cojines musicales, teléfonos de madera, y otros aparatos modificados para que transmitan una enseñanza a los más pequeños.

Jardins de Joan Brossa is an amazing park for travelers and locals! You can overlook the whole city of Barcelona. We walked around the park and enjoyed the lovely gardens and landscapes. The admission is free, it’s a must do when visiting Barcelona! A quick, nice, and easy way to get to the hilltop of the park is by (Teleferic De Montjuic) cable cars. There are several means to get there, but I think this is probably far the best experience for the scenic route.
There is also a remarkable monument in the park in tribute to of one of the greatest flamenico dancer and singer (Carmen Amaya) in Barcelona. The statue marks how powerful her image and dancing career was in the 20^th century. I thought the statue was beautifully built in honour of this dynamic woman.
