Tomy Hamburgueseria

Food quick and tasty. Service was excellent and extremely friendly! We only had a few hours on Majorca from our cruise and headed to a beach. The first place we went was about a block down and it was small but highly recommended. Anyway, a party of about 8 had just beat us in and the server was honest enough to say we likely wouldn’t get food for an hour. We asked if he had any recommendations and he said we servers usually eat at Tomy’s. We went down and it was great. The server was great to my wife and kids while I took another child onto the beach. When I came back to the table, I also met what appeared to be the manager… could have been Tomy but I didn’t catch his name. He was also great and a gentleman as my wife ordered a café after me but when he brought mine he served it to her first. They had even offered to call a taxi for us after we were done at the beach. If we ever go to Majorca again we will definitely be coming here for our beach time lunches. Sorry didn’t even mention the food… My wife and kids ate without me while I was on the beach so I don’t know what they got. I got the beef burger… not sure of the name… with the fried egg… its the picture under beef burger on their wall. I just pointed to that and said I want that one… it was GREAT… and not as messy as you might imagine when looking at it since they served it wrapped for eating in paper. I also had the «special» chips which are fries… with mayo, onions and something else that I can’t recall… it was different and tasty. Finally the café… was very good… not something you might expect to drink on a beach during the day but I was tired and needed a little wake up.

So Tomy is probably on of the friendliest people I have met on Mallorca, just his wonderful spirits should be a reason to visit this low key restaurant along the beach side in Can Pastilla.
My grandparents introduced me to Tomy on our latest visit to Palma, they were regulars at his resultant almost two years ago and even though they haven’t seen him in two years he still remembered them from all that time ago. He makes personal jokes, tries to speak a little bit Norwegian and really pays attention to all his costumes. His unique ability to do so make people return!
The interior looks like many of the restaurants along the beach, and the red signs makes it look like just another hamburger joint, but the food is quite good and the great experience just makes the food taste a lot better in my opinion.
The place is always filled with people, native as well as tourists, and if that don’t convince you to stop by Tomy nothing will.
