I was in the area for work on a Sunday and with several locals. Being Sunday, our dining options were pretty limited. We had to book a very early Spanish lunch at 13:30 and got the first table at this establishment. My trip wouldn’t have been complete without the proper Spanish meal experience. Our courses consisted of Bread, Little clams(no idea about their actual name, but it’s only available on that beach), mussels, calamari, salad, and paella, and coffee. At Lunch. It took 2.5 hours. The bread in Spain is served with a red tomato sauce and a white mayo like sauce that is egg white and olive oil based. Your are intended to mix the two on bread. The rest of the courses, outside of the paella, were good but nothing especial. As it would turn out, this place I was is the true origin of paella, and everywhere else just«isn’t the same» according to the locals. I’ll have to agree after trying it here. Our final, 6th course, was a mixed paella with shellfish, rabbit, chicken legs, pork, and some kind of liver. It’s cooked over an open fire and sized according to the number of people in your party. While I wasn’t too into the meat selection, the shellfish, veggies, and rice were excellent and I enjoyed the flavor from the meat. As a pro tip from a local, you have to use the spatula to scrape the bottom of the paella pan to get all the flavor. Amazing in deed. I can’t say anything bad about the place and a 7 course meal for 5 people was only € 160, which included 4 drinks per person.(calm down it was non alcoholic beer, it’s a working lunch)

Rating des Ortes: 3 Castellón
Todo muy rico pero creo que ahora han subido los precios y existen sitios similares con un precio bastante mejor.
