Growing up this place was synonymous of Sunday. Every Sunday for more years that I can remember we went to this café after mass. This local spot has been presiding the most central square in Pontevedra, for many many years. It’s terrace is one of the hottest spots in the summer, as parents can enjoy a drink while the children can run around safely in the nearby square. They offer the a good selection of drinks, and recently they have added more item to their menu such an assortment of «tostas”(toasties) and tropical natural juices. I had a classic, their fried calamari, that I highly recommend to anyone stopping at this spot. The service could be a bit slow if that is the case just relax and enjoy the view. Prices are higher that average, so don’t be shocked if your beer is a bit more expensive that usual.
