Had never been to a vineyard before I visited Yllera. It was a great day out, though a bit of a distance to travel from where we were staying in Madrid. Got to see wine production as it happened. Guided tour was marvellous and the caves/cellars atmospheric. A plentiful wine tasting of the most sumptuous wines along with cheeses/crackers was included. After this our trip ended with a delicious meal and even more fine wine in the Yllera restaurant! Days out just don’t get any better!
