Excellent Resto/Bar à tapas! Le seul Resto bondé de Sabadell et non sans raison! Service très sympa et rapide, tapas délicieux, prix raisonnables et vins très bons aussi, à né pas rater à Sabadell !

Genial la qualitat del menjar, de l’entorn i del servei. 10 de 10! La seva varietat i creativitat en tapes no te preu. El servei és molt agradable i la velocitat en servir les taules és espectacular.

Cala Boca means appetizer in Portuguese, and that is precisely what tapas are, pretty appetizers that constitute a dinner. Every time that I visit my hometown I find new modern and hip restaurants, and Cala Boca is one of those: located in an old street nicely gold illuminated at night in downtown Sabadell, is dark and lovely in the inside. Minimalist yet well studied decoration with old school chalkboard where you can see the tapas and drinks of the day. I really liked the thick plastic bag where our Albariño wine was served, it was very chic and I have never seen that before. The place was packed last night, with tons of people enjoying their food and people watching while getting some fresh air. About the food: some tapas were amazing, like the cod based and the padron peppers. However I did not enjoy that much the calamares a la andaluza(calamari Andalusian style) nor the pulpo a feira(octopus Galician style). Calamari were too gummy and the bread covering it was too thick and there was not flavor so I asked for some aioli sauce. As per the octopus, I just prefer it cut in disks and only boiled with paprika and olive oild added, and this style seemed to be a little bit fried and the flavor was just ok. Patatas bravas were good but not awesome, I would have add more spiciness in the sauce, it was too blend for me. The mushrooms mix was very good, i did not even know so many of the varieties presented in the dish. The yolk of an egg was add to the mix and I find it very creative and tasteful.
