Would I have liked it when I was (way) younger? Would I have gone there and partied the night away? I do not know,… maybe…, cause I could have related to the childish crowd.
But if I go there now I am the oldest person on the dance floor and I am the only one who can legally buy alcohol. And I tend NOT to drink too much cause the prices are horrendous.
Over 10 euros for a whiskey coke and up…
The music is crap, sometimes they actually start playing something nice and I start dancing but all of the sudden the DJ abruptly changes track and we are back to the boom boom.
Everywhere are drunken kiddie tourists or locals who block the loo.
The entrance is usually free (honestly: if they asked me to pay I would turn my back) and that is most probably the only reason we sometimes end in there.
Yes, the kiddies most definitely have their fun and time of their lives, but I am way to old for that. Anyway, Salous club scene is all the same and not very distinguished, so the «where to are we going out tonight» choices are limited and mostly Snoepys wins.
Tip for the older generation: get enough cash to afford drinks, otherwise you will struggle to stay sane.
