My first Canairian wine tasting at a small local winery! Yahoo!
This winery makes wine for hotels around the Canary Islands. its’ a small winery with a small vinard near the middle of the island.
They only offered tasting for 2 different types of wine. Dry and really super sweet. I though the sweet wine tasted very similar to sherry. Not really my thing. But the red wine was very good. We were shown around the building and shown the wine making machinery. Then offered cheese and unlimited amounts of wine.
It’s a shame you can’t buy the wine in shops. It was very good!
If you have a chance to visit local winery to gran canary… go for it! You won’t regret it!
