Ya aviso que con esta reseña no seré objetivo, el motivo, que le tengo cariñio al lugar. Sabeis de esos sitios que por un motivo u otro te trae buenos recuerdos, pues para mi ete sitio me los trae. No os engañaré, esto es un bar para guiris, precios altos para ser Sevilla y ninguna locura culinaria a la que acudir, no obstante, es el bar donde paré a desayunar las veces que tuve que ir a la prueba de chaqué para mi boda, de ahí el cariño que le tengo al sitio, y la verdad, que para desayunar tampoco está nada mal, ni es especialmente caro. En pleno centro, junto al salvador, hace que se transforme en una socorrida opción a la hora de desayunar si te encuentras por la zona. Con un interior pequeño aunque decorado con bastante buen gusto, de muy cinéfilas maneras, se completa con un pequeño patio lateral donde tomar el fresco.

Entré de casualidad ya que estaba por la zona del Salvador y eramos un grupo bastante grande. En el local había sitio de sobra por lo que nos decidimos a entrar. El bar tiene aspecto para«turistas». Había una carta de tapas variadas, probé la pechuga de pollo con salsa de setas, patatas bravas con jamón y solomillo al whisky. Todo estaba bueno, tampoco para tirar cohetes, pero aceptable. Para el grupo que eramos fueron rápidos a la hora de traernos la comida.

I ordered fired baby squid + beef steak + paella, paella was not well cooked! the rice was cooked 70% I think. little bit salty but was ok. I asked well done beef steak and they gave me a rare beef steak. so I asked again and it took 10mins but still medium rare… steak was almost 15euro and it is toooo big sized beef. hopefully small sized steak and less amount of money~ baby fried squid was sooook yum and so tender!!!

I chose to eat here because it was a little quieter than the other restaurants. I ordered the Grilled Squid as a meal. It came out on top of half a plate of lettuce and chips. The sauce on the grilled squid matched the squid well and you could tell the squid was actually grilled. The squid tasted quite good. It would have been nice to not have so much lettuce. Maybe some other salad as well. I felt like I was being fed rabbit food with so much lettuce to eat. The service is somewhat lacklustre. The waiter was more interested in talking to the other waitress than serving customers.

Had some tasty tapas here… Chicken with cream sauce was awesome as was the Moroccan chicken kabob. Service was efficient.

Well, not the best really. I have to say that the two men who were working the entire restaurant alone were overworked and had a lot on their plates so I cant blame them much for our subpar experience. The food was just OK, but nothing special. Perhaps we ordered the wrong things. The fried shrimp were over breaded and bit soggy, the paella was lackluster and just luke warm and the tapas were just so-so. Overall, the atmosphere is lovely and the service is friendly, though it took us waiting over 20 minutes to finally get our bill and our poor waiter was running around like crazy. Might be a good place to have drinks or dessert, but I wouldnt consider it a destination spot.
