Space Ibiza

This is my fav club ever. Carl Cox every week is just bliss. This is his last year here this year. He will be sadly missed. Club is huge. The main room gets so packed though but you can always move to the other room as always great djs playing.

My favorite club on the island. Can’t imagine Ibiza without it, but life moves on. It’s final season will be summer 2016. Either you experience this place or you won’t, it’s up to you, but if you’re a music lover, being here is life changing. Definitely there’s no other place like it, not even on the island.

SPACE the final frontier … nein das war was anderes hier geht es um einen der 4 ältesten und in Deutschland bekanntesten Club auf Ibiza.
2014 war ich das erste mal bei Café Olé dort. Diese Party (Reihe) hat 5 Sterne verdient.
Hier komme ich kurz zum Konzept. Es gibt 4 Clubräume die unterschiedlich und nicht immer alle genutzt werden.
Wie auf Ibiza üblich gibt es verschieden Parties hier, die jeden Tag wechseln. Über die Preise muss man nichts sagen die sind Ibiza üblich. Doch wer den vollen Eintritt zahlt ist (sorry) selber schuld.
2015 ging es wieder ins Space. Diesmal zu Vagabundos. Es wurden 3 Räume, 2 davon open air, bespielt. Der Club war gut besucht und die Stimmung gut.
Doch warum nur. 4 Sterne? Es lag an der Terazza, diese war der Mainfloor und diesmal vom Sound viel zu laut. Auch die Show zum opening (um 3 Uhr) war OK doch da sah ich schon bessere auf der Insel. Es wirkte etwas abgespeckt. Doch braucht es diese großen Shows? Bei offiziellen 50 € Eintritt JA!
Da ich aber nur 15 € zahlte hielt sich mein Ärger in Grenzen und es war ein toller Abend bis 4 Uhr morgens.
Empfehlung: Space Ibiza ein klares JA!

This has to be the biggest club that I’ve ever been too. There’s a few rooms each playing great music. The lighting and sound system are amazing. I can totally understand why this is one of the top rated clubs. Note you don’t get the gimmicks that you get in Vegas clubs (eg mechanical chandeliers) if that’s your thing.
Quite a lot of talent the night we went including Carl Cox, Eats Everything and Sasha.
Although there were a load of people, it was not uncomfortable like the other 2 clubs we went to (sankeys and dc10).
Left just before 7am and the main stage was still packed with Carl Cox spinning.
Prices are high. Cover was 45 euros and mixed drinks were 18.
FYI when the 2^nd biggest dance floor closed, I noticed a LOT of broken glass on the floor from beer bottles.

Staff is friendly and there are so many rooms with so much going on that you will find your taste for music and crowds if you adventure around.
Went for the Vagabundos party with Luciano and it was top notch. Drink costs were on par with other locations and the staff at the door were friendly.
The set up inside as for décor were on point and the crowd was young and energetic. A definitely must-​go location for the full Ibiza Experience

Im Rahmen einer einwöchigen Ibiza-​Reise geht man als jüngerer Tourist in aller Regel auch zu elektronischer Musik tanzen und so war ich gleich in der ersten Nacht auf Ibiza nicht im Hotelbett, sondern im Space zu einer Party der Reihe «Kehakuma/​Elrow».
Zunächst einige Fakten, damit jeder potentieller Space-​Besucher weiß, was ihn erwartet:
— Party von 23 bis 7 Uhr auf 2 Floors (der eine wesentlich größer als der andere), so zumindest in besagter Nacht
— Anreise mit Buslinie 14 bzw. Nachtbuslinie (Discobus), Taxi, eigenem Vehikel oder zu Fuß, falls man seine Unterkunft in Platja d’en Bossa gebucht hat
— schnellerer Einlass mit bereits im Vorfeld besorgten Tickets (Internet oder Ticketshop)
Nach diesen trockenen Fakten möchte ich der Unilocal-​Partycrew natürlich nicht meine Meinung vorenthalten.
Gut hat mir die Musik gefallen, die mich ständig in Tanzlaune gehalten hat, die aufwendige Dekoration an den Decken und natürlich auch an den Bühnen und auch die Auftritte schrill gekleideter Personen, die auf Stelzen durch den Club laufen.
Weniger gut gefallen haben mir die sehr hohen Eintritts– und Getränkepreise (beides mehr als doppelt so hoch wie für ebenso gute Party’s in Frankfurt) und die äußerst beengten Verhältnisse auf den Tanzflächen und das entgegen des Clubnamens (englisch für «Platz»).
Fazit: Weil ich das Hauptkriterium gute Musik im Club gut erfüllt sehe möchte ich dem Space trotz der starken Negativpunkte immer noch 3 von 5 Sternen geben.

This club is perfectly located just meters from the beach!
With a total of 4 different rooms and a sunset terrace. Space has something for every music lover as well as holding its own sense of uniqueness.
With a capacity of 8000 people
And huge names like Carl Cox
Loco dice Richie Hawtin and disclosure, just to name a few also
Voted worlds best club numerous times it’s no shock to understand why after visiting such a amazing venue!
Undoubtably a must do in Ibiza!

Buena música, buen ambiente, buen trato, caro, pero merece la pasar por aquí. Hay una terraza y dos salas. En la terraza fiestas temáticas, en las salas house.

Hugest club ever with so much space (hence the name)…it has like 5 different rooms! Music on the day I went was so so — didn’t have lyrics like I prefer but it was still a good time. Def a must check out when you’re in Ibiza!

Was a cool place and had a good time here. A lot of different rooms and even though they were all playing the same kind of music there was still a bit of variety between them. The drawback of course are the drink prices, unbelievably expensive. Drink a lot before you go. If drugs is more your style you will have no problem getting any here, I was asked by a bunch of different people within 10 minutes of getting there.

Space is the biggest club that I have been to yet! There were so many rooms upstairs and downstairs as well as DJs in each massive room!
I got lost in Space!
I had so much fun being confused on whether I have been to each section or not already and I felt like I was constantly wandering off in Space!
The DJs were awesome and each one of them had a different spin on their style!
I love Space and you must check it out at least once if it is your first time in Ibiza!

Space is one of the biggest clubs in Ibizia and on the Playa Den Bossa side. I guess we went on an off night because Kat and I did not enjoy Space Ibiza even though it is currently ranked #2 in the world. We’ve heard nothing but amazing things but we definitely did not go on the right night to go. They absolutely did not pull out the usual lights and stuff and had only mediocre djs that night. The décor was some weird blob things hanging from the ceiling that looked like actually looked like hanging pieces of shit… which was pretty funny! I really wish I could have came here for a better night with all the special effects. All in all it was a pretty tame Thursday night at Space. We were able to see some djs spin but were not really impressed. The guy kept cutting songs at the worst possible beat and it was hard to enjoy dancing to it.
The good parts of this club were that there were various rooms for you to check out. Although the second room we went to was considerably smaller and not the main floor, it had a more intimate feel and we enjoyed hanging out at the bar more. The dj in this room was also considerably better and a lot more fun to dance to! For sure some other people had a much better time than we did… especially some groups of people sporting some large black dots stamped all over them (sooo freaky looking). Luckily for us, we met some other New Yorkers and made some friends who mirrored our opinion of Space… maybe next time we’ll have a better time. Definitely will make sure it’s a better night to go!

Another top notch club in Ibiza. I went here in summer 2013 and saw advertisements all over the island for this club so a friend and I who were spending a few days on the island together decided to check it out. Carl cox was the main headliner playing while we were here in July. The club is located right in the middle of the club scene in playa den bossa and was very close to my hotel
Of course just like everywhere else in Ibiza it was expensive to get in (50 – 70 euros) and drinks were about 15 – 25 euros. That’s just the going rate for an island in the middle of the Mediterranean.
If you are in Ibiza and looking for a wild night you definitely should come here

I came to Space for their Summer 2013 opening night. The atmosphere is great, drinks can be pricey — but that’s anywhere in Ibiza. Always Pregame! The dj’s for their opening night were amazing, kept great energy going all night, tourist are welcoming. This place is a little more chill than Pacha. A must go when you’re in Ibiza.

I don’t bother to write abt clubs but I’ve never been spoken to so rudely by club staff ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD. My friend walked in to buy a tank top. The two shop girls say the stores closing, do a karate chop move then yell «now get out!» Then a few minutes later after passing by the shop again, the girls are hamming it up w/​some non Asian guys. Hmmmmm I wonder why? Racism is still ripe in Spain! Enjoy.

Was headed to Ibiza for opening parties. At first, I was a little skeptical of Space — though it’s considered one of the top clubs in the world, I wasn’t too excited about any of the djs — I heard Armin used to spin here, but no longer. Glad I went, because it was an absolutely amazing!
For the opening party, they turn the parking lot into an outdoor stage from noon until midnight. I heard they do this for the closing party as well. This bumped their already massive capacity even higher.
Afterwards, I explored the rooms inside. There were 5 I believe. The main room is where it’s at, where you’re surrounded by lights and sound from all over. I felt completely immersed in it all. I wandered the other rooms to check them out in total, but spent most of my time in the main rooms (though the other rooms were great for cooling off).
Overall, I had an incredible time here. The atmosphere is nothing short of magical. Can’t wait to go back.

I came here my 2^nd night in Ibiza. I had just come from Ushuaia and was pretty much blacked out. Lol. But after running back to our condo to get ready for the 2^nd time, we headed back to Space walking. After that cardio session my mind was coming back to its normal state and when we reached Space and went inside none of the other rooms were open.
My friend who went there before told me there were more rooms and probably were open on specific days/​nights.
Long behold, went here a 2^nd time for «We Love» and it was 1 of my most amazing nights. Met so many women in 1 session. I loved how they had various dj’s in each room with different genres of house. And drinks galore. Only problem I had is some of the bartenders had attitude, but then again you can’t blame them when they’re dealing with drunk, belligerent customers at 5−7am!
This is a MUST go if you ever want to check out a good night, then go to «We Love.»

You can pack a concert at Space Ibiza. Came here on a weekday rolling in around midnight and packed! Europeans know how to party. Eric Morillo was deejaying that night. Great music and good peeps.
They had some sort of Circus Soleil performance with half nekkid dancers hanging from the rafters that night. They also had people chasing other people and ripping their clothes off. It’s true! But of course, it was rehearsed and they were in on it.
Lots of happy people here. Had a good time. This place is sort of in the middle of the highway and hailing a cab takes an effort.
Looking forward to come back here in my next lifetime.

Lasers.
Lots and lots of lasers.
Boy these people know how to throw a party. The laser show was like Hal of A Space Odyssey rocking out after he got his evil way, it was like being dropped through space yet being shot at.
The place is huge. The people are chilled and beautiful. The drinks are,
‘HOW MUCH?!’
€ 15 for a shot of spirit, it’s free pour so be sure to smile at the beautiful bartenders or else smuggle miniature baby bottles of rum in your bra and play it off as an ode to a Gaultier designed Madonna style bra. I am not ashamed of what I did, in the contrary I am proud of my smuggling moves.
Upstairs plays mainstream tracks and there is a huge white caterpillar type thing that you can lounge in and watch all the ripped bodies walk by and you can also play the: ‘guess the homosexual game.‘
It’s harder than you think, continental Europeans love very tight clothing and padding in their swimwear but that’s a different story.
The sound-​system is insane! Go into the main room and there is just a wall of speakers with the DJ’s above looking down at Madonna nipples. You know a sound system is AMAZING when you wake up the next day with no ear ringing. Seriously I walked into the room and my chest pounded with the beats.

One of the must go clubs in Ibiza! We stayed at Ushuaia Hotel so going to Space is so convenience for us.
We usually head to the club around 11ish in the states but there’s a different party time at Ibiza. The party got crazy around 2ish and the music was great!!! unbelievable!
They have couple stages located on the rooftop, one outdoor and two indoors. Make sure u checked out all the floors, dont stay at one coz u gonna miss out!!!

The music they play here is pretty GOOD! This was my second favorite club on the Island of Ibiza. The first is PACHA!

Went to Space on a saturday night for Café Olé which was there «poly sexual» burlesque night meaning everyone gay, straight, bi, trans, whatever welcome and it was definitely my favorite night in Ibiza and the best clubbing experience I have had in my life. lol. They have numerous male and female performers who by the way are all extremely hot and half to fully naked, drag queens, burlesque dancers, male dancers, they have guys and girls swinging from the ceiling, I mean its crazy epic. The resident DJ was amazing playing some awesome house music and as you can tell by the name of the club, Space, it is huge with more than enough space to hold the several thousand happy dancers. Getting drinks was not a problem and the staff were very friendly. The crowd was awesome and everyone just seemed genuinly happy and I mean how couldn’t you be we are in F***ing Ibiza for christs sake lol.
A quick tip: in Ibiza town they have the parades with people promoting the different clubs usually around midnight of each night, well that night we ended up getting free wrist bands for both Space and Amnesia through them, so make sure to pre-​funk in Ibiza town to get those hookups. It saved us what 50 – 60 euro… Again probably the best night of my life, totally amazing!

While I was in Ibiza, I went to Pacha, Sankeys and Space. Space was definitely my favorite club! The club is HUGE. When we first went in, we thought the first room was the main floor because it was pretty big… after a while we realized that the main room was deeper into the club!
Armin Van Buuren was spinning on the night we went. I was able to go all the way to the front. The light show was craizer than ever and the place was just vibing with happy people and great music. It was spacious with ample amout of AC compared to the other clubs in Ibiza that we went to. The drinks are ridiculously expensive like any other clubs on the island. A small bottle of water was 8 euros… worst then the water you get in Vegas!
