La Barra de la Gemma

A small café-​bar situated in the market of Terrassa, with a small seating area with a few tables as well as seating at the bar. It sells good value snacks (including excellent filled baguettes I can vouch for the hot Spanish Tortilla version at EUR2.90) as well as hot and cold beverages and beer. It’s very popular with both customers to the market and market traders, and seems to be something of an institution.
The wall behind the seating area has become a feature in its own right, with quips and slogans written on the ceramic tiles; as you might expect, they vary from the humorous and banal to the decidedly politically incorrect
