Restaurante Asador Txoko

Great little bar off the plaza in Toledo Spain. Thought it was Japanese at first glance at the name (from a distance to be fair!) but it is actually Mexican. Every drink you get a piece of bread with meat on it or some Spanish omelette. 4 seats outside but it was worth waiting for them for the people watching

A meal with not much love into it… We took the lunch menu for 12 euros a person. First course was a smoked salmon salad which was ok. Main course for me was a piece of tired txurrasco which mainly was fat (and about 20 grams of hard meat), and some old defrosted supermarket quality fries. Dessert was a flan which tasted like it was the 50 cent special off the Carrefour shelve. Don’t bother.

I’ve been here twice for lunch and the food has been great. Probably the best value in Toledo, 2 course meal with dessert and house wine, soft drink or water is 10 euros.

We ordered the 32 euro for two people menu. The five tapas were all delicious, and the ribs were excellent. Service was friendly and there was also wifi. Definitely a highlight of our Toledo day trip.

We went after reading previous reviews. There were 4 adults and 3 children in our party. We went with the meal for 4 cooking on stone plus one 10 Euro lunch special. There was plenty of food for all and the service was quick and friendly. All the tapas were good and the cooking of the meat at table was a sure bet you get the meat the way you like it. The rooms had air conditioning which was a plus for us

Found this place through Unilocal and decided to try it out based on the great reviews. We ordered the special for 2 persons for 32 euro. It came with tuna salad, 5 tapas, chimmichurri pork ribs and one bottle of wine. Everything was great, the pork ribs was really tender and tasty. The service was great too!

Totalmente recomendable! Tienen un menú del día por sólo 10 € con calidad de menú del doble de precio (codillo, secreto…).
Todo buenísimo y bien cocinado, lo que unido al buen trato recibido da como resultado las 5 estrellas que hemos puesto.
Volveremos seguro!

La verdad es que es el mejor restaurante en el que he estado en Toledo. Tienes menus de 10 € y de 100 € para 4 personas. Todo de muy buena calidad, bien presentado y buena cantidad. Por que no le doy 5 estrellas? Porque el servicio es un poco lento, ya que solo tienen un camarero. Es verdad que 2 estarían molestandose entre ellos, por ser estrecho el sitio, como todos los del casco antiguo, pero es la verdad. Tardan un poco en servir, pero merece la pena. Volvere!!!

Un vasco en Toledo que vende comida argentina, por lo menos esa es la impresión que me he llevado. Es un local pequeño, pero merece la pena. De precio no es excesivamente caro y la atención, correcta y eficaz. Son especialistas en parrilladas y carnes asadas a la piedra. Lo que más me gusta es que la piedra que ponen es eléctrica, con lo cual no se queda fría nunca.
En otros sitios me ha tocado pedir que la cambien dos o tres veces. Lo ideal es ir varios y pedir una parrillada argentina y unos entrantes. Puede salir por unos 55 o 60 euros por pareja, con vino (o cualquier otra bebida), pan y postre incluidos. También tiene pinchos y ensaladas
