Our local tour guide recommended this place for the paellas, but we didn’t want to eat so much rice so two of us opted for the seafood casserole and the obligatory grilled sardines when you’re here.
The portions were very generous, best of all the seafood was cooked perfectly (not overdone) and fresh. The shrimp and langoustine were sweet and succulent, there are also different pieces of fish although it’s hard to discern what types. The price is comparable to the other restaurants near the beach. Paella is € 10 per person (min of 2 ppl), seafood casserole is € 15, sardines € 5.5.
Many locals ate here, another sure sign of its popularity and authenticity. Menu is multilingual and servers are polite and spoke enough English.

El mejor chiringuito de la zona de Playamar en Torremolinos y uno de los mejores de toda la Costa del Sol.
Situación privilegiada junto a un palmeral. Manteles y servilletas de tela. Materia prima espectacular. Arroces, fritura y tratamiento del pescado impecables. Camareros supératentos y eficaces. Precios muy razonables.

Las almejas tenían mucha arena, las quisquillas en su punto y el adobo muy rico y suave. Todo regado con media botella de barbadillo. El trato del camarero exquisito! Y de precio normal a lo que pides.
