Chocolatería Valor

Churros, white bread with olive oil, sweets, chocolate, all sugar loaded :) Want to gain some weight fast? Look no further!
Valor is a manufacturer of chocolate selling to stores throughout Spain. An old company with a long history (since 1881) — they even have a chocolate museum at their headquarters in Villajoyasa (I didn’t visit). Cafes are operated under a franchise, there are some 20 «chocolaterías» in different parts of the country (Madrid, Valencia, Zaragoza, Barcelona etc).
The one in Torrevieja has nice retro interior design (look at the door handles) and calm old style atmosphere. Location is excellent — close to Plaza de la Constitución — the center of the center. Good place to meet up, it’s easy to find, everyone knows it and people seem to love it.
Their specialty is chocolate (any kind of it), I guess their churros are super popular too. They also serve pastries, toasted bread and jamón. 4 stars because churros must be banned everywhere, or at least excised like cigarettes (just kidding, come try them) :-)

Nice and clean Café in the middle Torrevieja city centre. The churros are always good (and huge), but the milk coffee is surprisingly bland.

Quizá un poco cara, pero tiene un riquísimo chocolate Valor, además como la calle es peatonal es ideal para tomarlo tanto dentro como en las mesas que ponen fuera.
