Hotel Golden Bahía de Tossa & Spa

We booked with Thomson Holidays for a week at the Golden Bahia de Tossa de Mar and here is my experience.
I was travelling with my partner and we met my mum and dad at the hotel. We arrived in good time and the transfer took around 35 minutes so a great speedy transfer and no drop offs at any other hotel, actually the whole bus was staying at the same hotel.
We arrived at the hotel and the queue for check in was huge but it seemed to go down pretty quickly, the guy who checked us in was pretty grumpy though, we did request for a pool view room and this is only granted if you pay for it upfront, i had sent a few special requests a couple of weeks before and we managed to get a great pool view room on the second floor complimentary. you also have to pay a local tax buts it only about 13 euros for a week.
We went up to our room on the second floor which had beautiful views of all the pool from the balcony. We was very happy with the room.
We had decided to go all inclusive from full board which cost 15 euros a day extra but its so worth it and you can have as much drink as you like plus you can also have a cocktail of the day i do believe you have pay extra for the other ones, but you can have any many coffees, ice creams, soda, beers or anything else without worrying about a thing so its worth it.
Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner is served in the main restaurant, Breakfast is superb and the choice is fantastic and you can also get freshly made eggs, omelettes and pancakes which i loved, lunch is great too with a large selection to choose from, Dinner is also great but i did find it a bit repetitive after a bit. But there is a large selection to choose from.
All the staff we came across were really friendly especially the entertainment team who work hard to make sure everyones having a great time.
The shows in the evening was also quite good to be honest, we loved the magic show!
There is also a couple of bars to relax in the evening as well if you don’t want to see the evening show.
I do wish that the Golden Bahia would get wifi throughout the whole hotel rather than just the lobby though.
It was a great week in the sun and Tossa de Mar is a lovely little town with a couple of great beaches and nice little café bars.
