Delightful. There are two sections, a small downstairs room for casual dining, and an upstairs room for fine dining, both priced accordingly. We chose downstairs for a prix fixe menu del dia, € 13.(I was very tempted by the upstairs offerings, which also had a prix fixe menu del dia, this one at € 22.) Either, and especially the elaborate upstairs menu, could easily accommodate the gluten-free requirements of my wife. She had a mixed fruit and vegetable salad to start; I had a trio of meat-filled tortellini with drizzles of different cheeses, both excellently crafted. For the entrée, my wife had a whiole chicken leg with prunes in a brown sauce; I had a packet of chopped meat in pastry with a bechemel sauce. Scrumptious. For dessert, a small flam(flan) and a strong coffee gelato, both house-made and very tasty. The price includes however much of the bottle of wine set on the table one cares to drink, which was a Catalonian red blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Tempranillo(2010 Bach, about $ 4 a bottle retail and good to very good). Highly recommended for lunch, and I would happily try their upstairs section if I someday find myself again in the lovely medieval old central quarter of Vic, which is in any case worth a day trip(90 minutes by train or bus) if one is in Barcelona for more than five or six days.(Pork sausages are a local specialty, and there is a remarkably well-preserved Roman temple from the 2nd century.)
