Auténtico, es como sentarte en un restaurante en Colima, Guadalajara o el D.F. El sabor es el de los platillos con tacos, cazuelas o carnitas.
Mi preferido y el mejor de Galicia para saborear la gastronomía genuina mexicano.

I am from Texas. this is not tex-​mex nor exactly what I am used to, but it was good. The pastor taco was very tasty, but tiny. At least by my standards. Also are good. The red is very hot which surprised me, and not with much flavor. The pico, mole and salsa verde are all good and pretty mild. Tacos al pastor come with the verde salsa mixed with the red. That works well. Has flavor and a bit of a kick.
Also had the tacos griga. These were what I would consider a normal size. They have cheese baked onto the tortiila. A bit too much cheese maybe, but good overall. Same salsa as pastor and made better by topping with pico. Pastor tacos better but much smaller.
Others had enchiladas as part of the menu of the day. They were decent but a bit bland.
Overall not cheap but a decent meal. Given how bad Mexican food can be in Europe this is a good bet if you are craving something different from the standard Spanish fare in Vigo.

El Chilam Balam (cualquiera de los dos de Vigo) es mi restaurante mexicano favorito. La comida me parece excepcional, con mucho sabor, fresca… Es un lugar al que me gusta mucho ir.
Quizá no sea de los lugares más económicos, pero creo que merece la pena ir alguna vez y disfrutar de verdadera comida mexicana en un lugar agradable y bonito, y con buen servicio por lo general.
Muy ricas las tingas y las quesadillas, así como el guacamole y los topopos (nachos) y sus salsas. Especialmente recomendadas las gringas, espectaculares.

Tanto el personal como la comida son fantásticas. Os recomiendo el Pastel Azteca .BUENísimoooo. No siempre lo hacen así que preguntad por el porque es algo sensacional.
Los porotos también están de muerte. la verdad es que todo está muy bueno, lástima que no pueda comer fréjoles por que me dan alergia que si no.

Chilam Balam is a Mexican restaurant that is located near to the Plaza Eliptica, in the center of the city. They serve real good Mexican food and I recommend to try this place.
The menu has some typical Mexican dishes like quesadillas, carnitas, burritos, … with a high quality of ingredients and cooking.
They also have a lunch menu with a very reasonable price.
The average price with the a la carte menu is around 20 – 25 pounds per person.
