I am a fan of this place because I love the cozy layout, the stone walls inside and the nice interior. Also the barista girl was quite friendly and spoke to me a lot winning me over. However– this place can take a few tips from the best cafes in Europe. First of all don’t advertise you’re a coffee/bookshop if you aren’t!!! This was one of the most disappointing of all things here. To come in and find a small bookshelf of Czech books that seem to be published by fra is interesting– but not enough to call yourself a bookshop. Secondly they allow smoking inside, is this not 2014? Get some ventilation or call it quits for smokers inside. Thirdly they only offer bleached white sugar. Again is this 1990 when raw sugar is not the king of cafes? I expected more café fra. You’re lucky you have a nice place and staff to pick up your slack.
