I did the mistake and came in here, they don’t accept credit cards, for a place that very out there, like this one it’s a shame they don’t update their system or have a sign that says no cards. Any how, the options here are very limited and the customer service is poor. Avoid.

If you are looking for some awesome thick sipping hot chocolate(like thin pudding consistency) to warm you up and satisfy you chocolate need this is the place for you. They also have some nice carrot and beet soups to take the edge off of your hunger during a day of serious sight-seeing.

I had the best hot chocolate of of my life at this place. Get the small hot chocolate with cinnamon; it will make you smile. The chicken sandwich on ciabatta was also delicious. The service was friendly but in typical European fashion, they leave you alone unless you wave them down. I would definitely return if I am ever in Prague again.

If service is important to you, I cannot recommend. The eggs were good, but not the portion. Cappuccinos were very average. Atmosphere ok… relaxed. About the service… the waitresses are friendly when you can make eye contact with them. Otherwise, they can only manage one thing at a time. I watched three groups enter and leave the restaurant because of poor service. In defense of the service team… they seemed inexperienced and poorly trained. I think it’s a management and structure issue which causes the inefficient service.

The name of this café is hilariously long for my American mind. Cukrakavalimonada is a café near the Charles Bridge in Prague. They serve desserts, coffee, and juice. My first impression: The lights are uncomfortably dim. The day before, I had the Aztec hot chocolate from Lehka hlava(vegetarian restaurant in Old Town) and absolutely loved it, and I was in the mood for hot chocolate again. I ordered the hot chocolate with hazelnuts from Cukrakavalimonada and was disappointed. It tasted more like the powdery, fake stuff from the U.S. than the rich, dark European chocolate I adore. One thing I did like here was the music. They pick jazz, classical, and smooth r&b that creates a tranquil space.

Waren hier mittags zum Essen. Die Säfte schmecken frisch. Zu empfehlen sind die verschiedenen Pfannkuchen. Personal ist nett und schnell. Preise sind völlig in Ordnung.

Stopped in for a late breakfast/early lunch and it worked out perfectly. Got two open faced sandwiches. Both came on great, dense whole grain«bread». The bread was topped with herring and salmon(one of each) and a light salad piled on top of the fish. It was a rather delicious dish. Also got a croissant, which was good, and a bottle of bubbly water. Nice space, and friendly staff.

Food was pretty good — worth 4 stars. But bummed cuz Unilocal said they accepted credit card and they don’t.

Very nice place. Kinda modern ambient with a little vintage rustical detail, like a hand painted old wooden ceiling. Good coffee, spectacular good looking home made lemonade. Nice staff. I had a yoghurt with apple and walnuts. But other things on the menu sound very appealing too. Later I went there the three other days that I spent in Prague for breakfast too. Because of two reasons: First, even if I looked I didn´t find another café with that quality in food and service(obviously I didn´t check out EVERY café in Prague, but some of them) and second, the café is super close to the Charles bridge and the big crowd, BUT located in a side alley, suddenly you get some air, it´s almost quiet there, it was a real oasis. The sandwiches are great too, the omelettes too. And the staff is the best, all the girls were really nice, really kind and they called a taxi for me, which I appreciated. Thanks for a good time!

Excellent food. The restaurant is small and quaint, with an excellent atmosphere. Food presentation is beautiful and the ingredients are all fresh. Highly recommend the hot chocolate and salmon croissant.

Delicious crepes and great service. Had one of their homemade drinks, elderberry I think, which was excellent, as well.

Very elegant little café. The service was excellent, the eggs and bacon delicious, also got a nice big cappuccino, and shared a yummy smoothie. A little pricier than other cafes for breakfast but IMO it was worth it. Does not take credit cards.

Cute and simply decorated place. We are only in Prague for 3 days and have been here twice. The first time we got meals, and the fresh pasta is delicious and well, fresh. The Caesar salad was good as well except I think the dressing had a hint of anchovies which I did not realize and did not like. Luckily I had gotten the dressing on the side so it wasn’t a big deal. The cocktail juices were a highlight and we got one each visit. Our second visit we just got dessert — so good and homemade tasting. The only downside is that I can imagine it can be difficult to find seating at times. A few groups came and left after no tables were available.

The hot hazelnut chocolate is really hot! And really delicious. It was raining and we found this spot. The place is good. I got a smoothie which was great. The people are super friendly. Highly recommended.

We had the best and thickest hot chocolate EVER here, just soooo delicous. We also wanted to have dinner, but unfortunately, they close at 7 pm. What a shame. We’ll have to come earlier the next time!

The BEST!!! My favorite lunch spot in Prague! From the homemade pasta and bread to the salad and cakes, superb. Their Bezinkova limonada is my favorite! A must try for sure!!!

Apparently Czech politicians frequent this establishment but don’t let that deter you. The coffee ain’t bad and the pizza is pretty good too. Also salads pretty good! Actually most of the food here is good. Great stop if you’re touristing around Charles bridge and/or the John Lennon wall and are looking for an afternoon rest for your weakened feet. Them cobblestones take their toll.

Cukr Káva Limonáda is a nursery rhyme that will always be stuck in my head. Thats why they won me over just with the name! They is right by Charles Bridge, but still hidden from the main flow of tourist. If you sit by the window, you will see Panny Marie pod řetězem. This restaurant, wine bar, patisserie has everything that you need for a quick stop when you are just too tired of your tourist paths. Last time we stopped here, we just climbed to the castle and back and this was a very welcome stop. We had Moravian house wine and fantastic french pastries, all served by very nice slovak girls. I would definitely stop for a drink or a coffee with cake. On the other hand, I wouldn’t plan my lunch here, because its very expensive and bit overpriced for what you get.
