This used a be a good runnig sushi place. Easy to get there. Ideal for a meal before or after movie. But than something happend. Someone probably very smart got an idea to sit people only if they have a reservation. I have never had to wait for a place longer than 10 minutes. That has changed with this reservation system. Ironic heh? The first clue that something is wrong with this place was like half an year ago. As usually, me and my wife came to have a dinner. There were plenty of free tables so as usually we sit to one of them and waited for a waiter/waitress. Lady came and she said that we can´t sit there and put reservation sheet on table. I didn´t know that they have changed the system so I was kind a upset. Because this is usually what happens in a restaurant when they don´t like you and they wanna keep the seat for someone else. Me and my wife don´t look like someone who would run away without paying or would be dangerous in any way. But anyway, I said OK so what about the other free tables. And they said that there are also reservations and immediately put there those reservation notices. So I was really upset. OK, later at home I found out that they did this reservation system. So I was like ok, now we know. Maybe if that lady would speak czech or english we would be able to understand her what´s going on there. That´s another thing by the way. I don´t demand them to speak perfect czech but they could speak at least a bit. Or english. Or German. I know that some of them speaks a bit Czech. Unfortunately this lady didn´t. So, the next time we did a reservation. We went to see a movie and we planned to have a lunch before the movie. Oh man, what a mistake. You have a reservation for a certain hour? It doesn´t mean anything. We gave it up after 20 minutes of waiting and deleted this place from our list where to go. That one star is for food which I belive is still kind a good. And I liked this place. It was so perfect according to reasons which I said at the begining. Damn.

This running sushi is located on the top floor of the Flora shopping centre and I have to say that when it comes to the running offer, it is pretty decent and it’s a good value for money. The sushi is tasty, there is quite a wide choice and the fish pieces are of reasonable size and not as tiny as it might be the case in some other running sushi places. What I would not, however, recommend are their served plates. Personally, I am kind of ok with lower sushi quality on the belts as I know that this is rather about quantity than quality but somehow I expect to receive higher quality when I order from the menu. In Ginza, however, even the served sushi seems to be of a mass production and what I hate is the plastic«grass» that they put in there to separate the individual pieces. For me, I always relate the sushi to the cheap Chinese fast foods that do this.
