Hard Rock Cafe Prague

Was soll man da sagen? Der Style ist halt typisch Hardrock Café. Mitten im Zentrum von Prag.
Wir wurden freundlich empfangen. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und außerordentlich schnell. Da kann sich das eine oder andere Café oder Restaurant in Prag gerne eine Scheibe abschneiden.
Wir saßen im recht großen Freisitz und es hat uns gefallen. Ein wichtiger Punkt für Prag: Trotz der zentralen Lage sind die Preise völlig in Ordnung.
Also ich empfehle es uneingeschränkt weiter!

Das Hard Rock Café in Prag hat mich beeindruckt. Leider hatte es beim ersten Anlauf ein privates Event und wir konnten erst am zweiten Tag einkehren.
Empfehlenswert ist der Local Burger. Meiner Meinung nach gibt es hier den besten Local Burger aller Hard Rock Restaurants, da ich etwas schärfere Burger sehr gern habe.
Preislich im Vergleich mit den anderen Ländern auf Grund des Wechselkurses etwas günstiger.
Gerne komme ich hier wieder her.

Super leckere Burger … tolle location … und die Bedienung und der Service waren auch top.

The infamous chain is in Prague, it’s the same formula everywhere but you don’t change a winning recipe.
The restaurant is huge with 4 floors, a bar and a scene on the first one, a bar on the second one and then just seats. It’s spacious and you find the usual furniture in a hard rock café which is guitars, posters, etc. of famous rock legends.
I always get the local legendary burger to have a taste of the local ‘famous ingredients’ and the one here is amazing, it had spices and caramelized onions to the burger, a pure bliss.
The brownie is good too but be aware it is absolutely huge and you can easily share it between two persons!
The staff is very welcoming and advise you well, the pricing is good compared to some other hard rock.

Happy hour starts at 6pm and finishes at 7pm, 10:30 til 11:30 too.
It’s as you would expect. Great cocktails and great service.

It’s not premium but it’s a really good standard.

Prag ist an sich schon nicht günstig und die Preise im Hard Rock Café passen da hervorragend rein. Nah am berühmten Rathausplatz gelegen, ist das Café nicht zu übersehen. Die Souvenirs sind zahlreich in der Auswahl und ebenfalls alles andere als günstig. Für Fans der Kette aber ein Pflichtprogramm.

Die Cocktails waren Mega lecker und wir konnten unsere Gläser als Souvenir (sauber) mitnehmen .

Had a great meal, great music and great company at Hard Rock Café Prague. «We all agree», our server Jana, was a friendly, lovely and attentive girl. The «Southern Rock» was kick butt. If you are looking for great American cuisine — that is a good pick.

Extrem überteuertes Essen/​Trinken zu maximal durchschnittlicher Qualität in schönem Ambiente
So oder so ähnlich kann man unseren Besuch im Hard Rock Café Prag zusammenfassen. Als aller erstes muss gesagt werden, es ist unglaublich schwer in Prag für eine große Gruppe relativ spontan einen Tisch zu bekommen. Hier hat es geklappt. Das Hard Rock Café liegt relativ zentral und war dementsprechend gut besucht.
Positiv ist natürlich das gesamte Ambiente mit schöner Deko in Form von etwa vielen verschiedenen Reliquien aus der Rock– und Pop-​Kultur. Mindestens genauso schön anzusehen waren die sexy Bedienungen: D. Diese waren auch sehr nett, zuvorkommend und die Speisen wurden zügig zubereitet. Achso und natürlich gab es dann noch Free-​Wifi (wie fast überall in Prag).
Die Preise allerdings haben es richtig in sich. Ein Burger kostet hier so um die 13 Euro. Der hat zwar satt gemacht aber das Fleisch war von keiner besonderen Qualität und auch nicht medium, wie bestellt. Das schlimmste war die extreme Trockenheit des Burger. Es war kein Klex Sauce drauf. Okay es gab noch Ketchup und Senf auf dem Tisch aber für einen guten Burger gehört für mich auch eine gute Sauce. Eine Enttäuschung. Die Parmesan-​Pommes hingegen waren recht lecker. Die Getränke waren auch nicht wirklich billiger. Und das im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes. Für ein Mojito habe ich hier umgerechnet rund 13,50 Euro bezahlt. Sorry das zahle ich nicht mal in der teuersten Edel-​Disco in Deutschland. Da hilft es auch nicht, dass der Cocktail ansonsten sehr gut geschmeckt hatte.
Also alles in Allem:
Das Hard Rock Café ist ein echt cooler Ort der aber allenfalls durchschnittliche Speisen zu sehr teuren Preisen anbietet. Da gibt es in Prag in direkter Umgebung einfach viel zu viel Konkurrenz. Es war nett mal hier gewesen zu sein, aber noch einmal werde ich wohl in kein Hard Rock Café gehen.

Essen war lecker (zum typischen Hard Rock Café Preis) und wir sind wie immer satt geworden. Bedienung war schräg, freundlich und lustig (wie man es im Hard Rock Café erwartet). Kurz: es ist halt ein Hard Rock Café. 5 Sterne.

Definitely deserves 4*+ ranking.
Customer care was best I’ve had in Prague, loved the environment (I’m not the biggest fan of rock either), there was a flow of music whichever part of the restaurant you went to.
Food was delicious, and full of flavour. Drinks menu was as broad as it was beautiful… Variety of interesting/​imaginative beverages (includes non-​alcoholic).
Overall, I was very pleased and would go again. Good thing to note is relative to other Hard Rock’s out there. Everything was rather reasonably priced. Big thumbs up from me…

Asked for a root beer– it was like I had asked for moon rocks. But everything else was pretty good. We had burgers. No place in Europe has had a true American burger. These were good, better than some. Great for kids since the place is playing music pretty loud. Some nice memorabilia on the walls. Music videos too. They like the 80’s but had some new stuff mixed in.

Coming from Oslo, where Hard Rock is heavily overpriced, and not that great, I was pleasantly surprised. The New York strip steak was perfectly cooked, the dessert was great (hot chocolate fudge brownie), and they had a great selection of drinks. The prices was not to steep either (for a Norwegian anyways).
All in all well worth a visit If you should happen to find yourself in Prague.

From San Diego, traveling with my gf (both of us are 19) found this Hard Rock incredible! And not for the live entertainment and not for the décor, food or drink, but for one particular server, Darya. She was the sweetest, most hard-​working girl I have ever seen staffed at any establishment. It is people like her that make experiences memorable for us! We only had one night in Prague, and chose to go to the popular establishment (wanted to hit at least one on our venture around Europe), and she is the real reason for this 5 star review! What an amazing person. Not only was she friendly, Biden, respectful, and efficient, but she checked up on us and asked how we were and how we were enjoying our ventures thusfar. She would tell us which things were better (which they were better than the things we thought we craved). Normally, I don’t care for the Hard Rock Franchise, but with employees like Darya, I can honestly say this café/​restaurant was amazing. We are 19 and have little money, but I gave her more than the bill was worth as extra, as she alone deserved it. I watched the staff, most stayed and watched the liveband and some were communicating too much amongst eachother, but NOT her. When there was nothing else to do, she busted out a roll of paper towels and cleaned tables, she ran up and down the stairs to serve others, and she always welcomed people with a warm smile.
I’d say the food was 4.5÷5, gf says ⁵⁄₅ all the way. ⁵⁄₅ on drinks, (free refills on soda was a first for us in Europe, it actually had a decent amount of ice and it was not overpriced). ¹⁰⁰⁄₅ for Darya, she was amazing, even gave us a hug after we were ready to depart! Rest of service, I won’t rate but I will tell you they appeared less than 5… Décor was great, the glass ball-​guitar «chandelier» was interesting and beautiful, hangs above the bar and is best from there. Music was a tad loud (but it’s the Hard Rock so you should expect it). ⁵⁄₅ on that. Location -/​-​only in Prague for 2 days, great location near our hostel (half a mile) (I would have walked 20 miles to be served by this girl!) she deserves a raise/​promotion/​ect, she deserves and I can tell she can handle management. If she lived in my area I would be 1000% committed to making her head of my staff, only reason I wrote this review was because of her. If you get her as a server, you are lucky, and please tip her, she’s young and deserves it, that is for sure. Thank you Darya (I think that is her name, she’s a young (21) year old blonde Ukrainian.) left there less than an hour ago and had to write this review just because of her! God bless you

Been to many hard rocks over the world and this one was by far the best! Outstanding service and was made to fell really welcome! Definitely drop in if you’re near by even its it just to try one of the amazing cocktails they do!

I am a huge fan of Hard Rock Cafes and whenever I travel around the world, I look for one to buy a T-​Shirt from there. When it comes to the Hard Rock Café in Prague, I have to say that it is one of the most stunning Cafes in the world. The location is amazing and so is the building, which has several floors and a great collection of various memorabilia.
Shortly after it opened, I was a bit disappointed with the level of service and the food quality and there was a period of time when I wasn’t a big fan of it. Now I have to say, however, that it is quite the opposite. The service has improved significantly and the food is truly amazing.
I have been here also to a couple of various events and I can say that if you are looking for a place to organize a private or company party, definitely check it out! Our university organized a big reunion party for its alumni in there and it was definitely one of the most amazing parties I have been to. The same goes for the other events I attended. The food is always amazing and so are the cocktails and friendly, professional staff. It is also a great choice for chilled evenings out with friends and definitely anytime when you are about to host a foreign visit.

HRC in Prague is the biggest one in the Europe. Three floors plus beautiful gothic cellars are cool place for hanging out with friends, company party or some concert. Also location is perfect, right next to the Old Town square. And I think I don´t have to talk about decoration, everybody knows :-)
Service is profesional, smiley, only sometimes not so skilled (doesn´t know the menu perfectly) as it should be but it can be tolerated. But generally speaking very friendly ad that´s what´s important.
Meals are pretty delicious. Hamburgers are sort of only very very good (not delicious) but salads are very delicious. The same nachos and desserts. I didn´t try more so far. Oh yes and sandwiches and french fries (home made) are actually delicious too.
Bar is well supplied so enjoy whatever you want. They do prety good coctails but you can stay by classical choice like beer (Pilsner).
Prices are reasonable. We have to take into accout that we are in middle of the tourist centrum. And generally speaking I think that this place is definitely worth to visit.

Its a Hard Rock, so you pretty much know what you’re going to get. Went here the last night of my vacation as it was the closest bar to where I was staying in Prague. I had visited a few other bars in the area, but wanted a place where I knew the drinks would be good — the other places were ok in terms of drink quality. Hard Rock didn’t disappoint. Our server Martin was just fantastic and he spoke really fantastic english. Our drinks were really good and even though it was a touristy spot, I didn’t find them to be as over priced as other spots.
My sister ordered nachos and they were huge. I can’t really say anything about quality since I didn’t have any but there was enough to share with 3 – 4 people.
Overall good spot if you’re in the mood for some apps/​cocktails. The only downside is that smoking is still allowed in bars. It has been a long long time since I sat near a smoker at a bar, and it was quite a turn off.

Hands down best service I have had anywhere. Most friendly staff. One guy even came over when my purse was hanging on the back of my chair and moved it to the seat across from me and hooked the straps through the chair so I could keep an eye on it. Then the assistant GM came over and had a nice long chat with my making me feel like part of the family. Everyone seemed to be laughing and having a good time and not to mention my burger was AMAZING! I have a feeling I will be spending many of nights at their bar. All I can say is A+++++ and thank you guys for making me feel at home!!!

C’est forcément très bon ! mais je regrette de né pas avoir pris le burger, j’ai pris un club sandwich et celui du Tommy’s à Toulouse est 1000 fois meilleur !
Le personnel est sympa, sauf un midi où il manquait le manager, un vrai bordel !
Leur terrasse est très agréable qu’il fasse beau ou pas, des couvertures sont à notre disposition !

Wenn es in einer Stadt ein Hard Rock Café gibt, dann muss ich einfach hin. Da führt leider kein Weg vorbei. Dieses Hard Rock Café hat einen sehr netten und großen Sitzgarten direkt in der Fußgängerzone der Altstadt. Der Innenbereich des Cafes erstreckt sich über mehrere Stockwerke und ist sehr geräumig. Das Essen sowie die Cocktails waren in der gewohnt guten Qualität. Ein Vorteil dieses Standortes ist, dass man online seinen Tisch reservieren kann und sich somit die Wartezeit erspart.

Always a reliable place to visit in case you are looking for predictable American food. We wanted to sit on the patio last night and the front door man was trying his best to persuade us not to sit outside with our baby– not sure if he thought it would scare people away? In the end we convinced him it wouldn’t be the end of the world if we sat there, and it was just lovely. The service was good, although I think perhaps it is too many tables for just 2 servers, they seemed to be flustered. The burger was good as always and the cocktails were tasty. The manager came over to visit with us and make sure we enjoyed our experience. They had live music going on inside, which I think is a pretty common thing, and adds to the ambiance. If you visit make sure you stop inside to see the chandelier.

Around the corner from the Astronomical Clock. The food is good as you’d come to expect from any HR. With several levels, it takes a while to get packed, but it does get packed. It has a small elevator by the bar. The guitar above the bar is worth taking a picture.
The Local Legendary is spicy which is rare for Europe. Kids eat free depending on the day and of course they speak English since one of their managers is from the States.
Their gift shop is quite large and easy to move around. They also have a large outside seating area.

Very beautiful building with historic wall decorations. This HardRock Café is very big, about multiple floors. You can sit there in nice groups or on multiple bars. There is a big stage in the ground floor. The big candelabra in figure of a guitar is imposing. You can see it in ground and second floor. The prices for food and drinking there are very okay, so I have paid 55 CZK (about 2 Euro) for a big beer, I think that’s cheap.

Have you seen the film «Ice cold in Alex?»
If you have then imagine the scene with the lager, but replace with a Magners with ice.
Then instead of a desert imagine a man and a woman who are not used to 35 degree heat as they live in Dublin.
Then imagine them walking a couple of miles in that heat, gasping for breath, sweat pouring from his bald head, searching for an oasis in the heat.
Then see them passing the standard Prague bars, Al Fresco serving lager.
They shake there heads in dismay searching searching for the holy grail of a cool drink on a hot day. A Magners with Ice.
They see a familiar brand name, Hard Rock Café. Surely they think it will be Air Conned, also maybe just maybe they have Magners.
They stagger through the door a cold Jet of air breezes over them, instantly bringing relief. They crawl to the bar, a bottle shines from the fridge door a halo of light bringing comfort. A choral choir rings out singing a hosanna to the travelers.
They order, they sit down they drink. They discuss «Ice Cold in Alex».

Hard Rock… Your supposed to know what you will get here, but to be honest the experience can vary greatly from city to city.
What should always be good is the helpful/​keen service and the really friendly welcome. In the Prague version I am afraid it is a bit lacking. Slow and non-​attentive waiting staff who don’t live up to the HR mission statement I would imagine. (Door guy was super friendly, but he was the only one)
We were just having a snack and went for the mixed platter starter to share. Food was ok, but not spectacular. If only it tasted as good as it looked. (Check out the picture)
The major good point… The location. If you sit outside it is a majorly good spot to people watch and see Prague. Well worth even just having a drink to sit under the heated canopies. Although when we were there the waiters appeared to be fighting over whether to have them on or off. They kept relighting and then blowing them out.
This is probs a 2.5 stars, but I need to pick 2 or 3.

If the one you love says you have to go here, just do it. Love makes everything worthwhile. The crystal guitar chandelier was quite creative, draping down the middle of this huge multi-​level Hard Rock.
The service was incredibly friendly yet professional and the food was… well, it was Hard Rock food. The same the world over. Consistently… well… American.
I do have to say that the watermelon martini with a nice salted rim was really tasty. I never would have believed it. But, it was true!
