We were told at our hostel this bar was a cool place to go that wouldn’t be too touristy… well, it was kinda. But the crowd was definately not my style. Yes, a lot of locals but they were quite weird. A lot of older guys. In Prague we either found places full of teenagers or full of old people, there wasn’t an“in between”. Music was debby downer. There wasnt a defined style, so you could be dancing and all of the sudden a depressive slow song would come up. Drinks were ok, not as cheap as other places… but bartenders were generally nice. Service was good. The ambience was cool, although it was way too crowded when we went. I wouldn’t go back there, the music and the people were a real turn off. But if you are looking for an alternative place to go out, maybe it could be an option. Not my taste though.

This wasn’t really my scene but it was a nice bar. The bouncer was cool/chill but didn’t speak a lick of English. Coat check was 20 koruna(local currency, about $ 1USD or € 0,75) and the guys were quick and efficient. The bar is located downstairs so it was pretty cool looking. Nice staff and ok prices. 75 koruna for a shot of Jameson, 35 for water, 55 for a 0,5L beer. It was extremely hot however and everyone was smoking. I’m definitely not used to people smoking in a bar. Music wasn’t very good at all. 2000’s rock and alternative mostly. All American from what I remember. People didn’t dance they kind of just jumped around and pushed into each other. The crowd was 19 – 21 year olds mostly and by the time I got there at 12 midnight everyone was already belligerently drunk so it was hard to join in and have fun. About 90% guys 10% girls(not exaggerating) and when there was a girl guys were hitting on her left and right. My friend(female) was getting pretty annoyed so we left after two drinks.

I both loved and hated Harley’s. The atmosphere was good(even if the décor is pretty outdated) and the music was great! However, the bar staff was INCREDIBLY rude. We couldn’t hear each other several times and the bartenders would get mad and start yelling at me angrily, cussing me out and calling me an idiot. It also took a very long time for the bartenders to even look my way. My recommendation if you go to Harley’s: get a big, strong drink so you don’t have to go to the bar often.

I’m not sure why people like this bar/club, in my opinion it’s just OK. Décor of this place seems a little worn down. I guess the theme of harley’s is kind of cool but that’s about it. Music was way too loud to have a conversation with anyone even the bartender couldn’t hear me. I got two cocktails from the drink menu and they were both made really poorly. Crowd was very annoying with douchy guys hovering over girls by the bar. I was not impressed! I guess the ONLY thing I really like about this bar– bartenders. They did some really cool tricks!

Very cool and stylish location very courteous waitresses. The cocktails seem to have to much ice and to get weaker every time you order a refill, so mix it up :-) Be aware of thiefs, they like to catch your phone our wallet(this was an advice by the waiter).

Auch hier waren wir zu Gast, von 20h bsi 03h Morgens, denke mal, das spricht für sich. Lockere Atmosphäre und auch das Bier kam recht zügig.

Totally the best place to go after the pubs and bars of Prague close. They close around around 1 am. Harley’s is usually by then very crowded. Full of men and women having a good time singing and dancing to everything from AC/DC to Madness to Abba. Free entry. Beer is the city centre average. And the staff behind the bar know their stuff. Fridays are the best night for me.
