One of our best findings in Prague! It was right next to our hostel, and since the day we first tried it we never stopped going there. If you are on a budget and looking for a true czech meal this is your place! Let’s start with the food… the menu gives a lot of options(from local food to regular food). I recomend the goulash for a first try. Delicious, filling… just comfort food all the way. We tried a variety of dishes there, none of them disapointed us. Price is fantastic. We had full meals(appetizers, dish, desert and beers) for a great value. The waitress was one of the nicest people we met in Prague! Her service was amazing. On top of it all she would help with suggestions(food wise) and with tips to enjoy the city. She gave us better info than the front desk in our hostel! She was the best. The ambience is super cool. Gives you that feeling of «wow, im in Prague». Definately not a touristy place… only locals eating there. To me this is very important! It certifies you are having a true czech experience. Definately recomend it, and if I could would go back right now!

If you want to eat at a place with all the locals, come to this place. The restaurant was recommended by our hostel. It is recommended to come early because all the tables were filled. We got the last table in the smoking section. There is a small room for non-smoking, but it was full. Prices were very reasonable for the amount of food you received. As a vegetarian, there were a couple of options on the menu. I had the potato pancake with vegetables(mushroom, corn, green beans). It was a huge potato pancake and stuffed with veggies, so it was similar to an omelet. My husband ordered the potato cakes with chili goulash. He liked the goulash and the potato cakes were extra crispy. For the pre-tip amount, our meal was less than $ 15USD. Great deal.
