Visited Kabinet on a Wednesday afternoon. Could drink gallons of the ginger tea, very tasty and warming. A companion had a green salad that looked fresh; I had the cake that was a marble bundt, understated and delicious. The clientele was all ages and nationalities. There is no smoking which is a welcome respite in Prague.

Located in Dejvice, Kabinet is certainly one of the most interesting cafés I have been to in Prague. FOOD&DRINKS — 7⁄10 I ordered a caramel café latte, Greek grilled sandwich, and the Únětický Pivovar beer. While the caramel latte was quite good, but it was nothing that spectacular so I switched to the Únětický Pivovar beer, which was fresh from the tap. The Greek grilled sandwich was mainly filled with feta cheese and a few pieces of black olives. It was a bit too salty for my personal taste. INTERIOR — 8⁄10 Kabinet came off as a weird place at first with its interesting interior design concept. It felt partially like a greenhouse with plants hanging everywhere, and part like some Indiana Jones movie set with animals displayed in the cabinets. But once I sat down and soaked it all in, it didn’t take long for me to fall in love with the cozy space. SERVICE — 8⁄10 Waiter spoke good English and was friendly to customers. I could tell there were regulars coming in, as they greeted the waiter and got their usual drinks; that was very nice to see. I recommended this place and will definitely go there again.
