weird name, even weirder décor but surprisingly yummy ramen in the heart of Prague. prices are pretty good & they serve a nice range of beers. Service is also very friendly and they have free wifi. Not 100% sure what they are going for with the fit out but it is entertaining at least.

This place really is something else! Located on one of the main touristy shopping roads in Prague, this place is best described with one word: Amazing! — Amazing design(with an Amazing industrial look) — Amazingly friendly staff — Amazingly large!(Don’t be fooled, the back area is gigantic too) In fact, the only thing I did not find all to amazing was(sadly) the Ramen… Don’t get me wrong, they were good and the prices were more than fair for a tourist area(large portion of ramen 8 – 9 Euros) — but there is just this one thing that annoyed me: The quality of the meat wasn’t top notch.(Far from amazing) The beef in my ramen was very fatty and chewy. Which is sad, because everything else is amazing — I really should have taken the one with chicken(Story of my life).

I couldn’t be any happier that this restaurant exists in Prague, but they deserve some criticism for the name. The name of the restaurant needs to be accurate, this place has multiple names so i have been in Prague too long not knowing it is existed. Ok done complaint. Thank you for existing. Tonkostsu ramen was excellent. Highly recommend it if you are visiting. Karage and gyoza were fine but not special. Toast box looked wild, I need to go back for that.

Have spotted the place while passing by. The up-to date design tempted to get inside and see what they have to offer. Mainly choices of noodles on the menu, however, for various tastes. Doubting of noodles as a choice, we finally decided to stay for the nice atmosphere and great music in the background. My husband and i ordered different types of noodles and both were very pleasantly surprised by what we got. The food was tasty! :) The willingness to return there makes me confident to state«strongly recommend!»

I went here with my family and ordered tonkotsu ramen. It was fine– nothing special. So when I was talking with my brother, the waitress was taking empty bowls and she took mine without even asking me and it was still half-full. I’m literally speechless of her lack of manners

Stopped by here for the first time today for lunch, a bit later… around 1pm. It was pretty busy and seemed there was only one waiter for the whole outside area. It took a while to give my order, I chose the lunch menu(tofu salad and spicy chicken Yakisoba). I asked for the salad to come first as a starter. Unfortunately after about 25 minutes I had NOFOOD. Also, there was no communication with me — no comment that they were busy, had a big order, chef was ill, etc… nothing. Very frustrating. So I started to get up to leave when the tofu salad was placed in front of me. I chatted with this other waiter who apologised saying there were other orders in front of mine… yep, I get it, but just talk to me. I waited 25 min for a tofu salad??? When I finished he asked if I wanted coffee or tea, which was quite strange and I reminded him that I’m waiting for my second dish, the chicken. The chicken Yakisoba was fabulous! Good amount of shrimp and chicken and just the right amount of spice. When I finished I asked to pay. Again… it took a LONG time to get the bill. And unfortunately once again an unpleasant surprise. They didn’t charge me for the lunch menu but rather for two full dishes(no idea why). So instead of 189CZK, they asked for 331CZK! Not a happy customer. I asked why, and the waiter easily said he’d fix it. A few minutes later I got the correct bill. Phew! Nothing else. I’m very hesitant to go back but the food was good. I’ll consider…

Ramen noodle restaurant with a really cool interior; absolutely loved the design when I stepped in. The food was ok, however very concerning to me was that the waiter could not say which meat the all the dishes contained. He was explaining that the dumplings should not contain pork but since the meat comes as ready paste it is possible the mixture sometimes contains pork. When choosing the Ramen noodles with chicken to specifically avoid pork, it turned out that the chicken broth contained pieces of pork minced meat even though it was not mentioned on the menu. The waiter did apologise for this mistake and replaced the dish with new one without pork, but it did not really rebuild trust in the food quality and ingredients. Otherwise I think the place might be nice for going out for drinks as the selection was quite good and included some cocktail pitchers as well. The service in general was friendly.

Much needed break from the continuous meat and potato meals across eastern and central europe. Ramen with mismatched chairs with johnny cash in the background almost feels like home.

Absolutely amazing food and the staff are so lovely and accommodating! They speak good English so it isn’t hard to order or talk to them! We have eaten here twice in one week and it has been lovely! Both times we turned up around 9.30÷10 and hey were vey happy to serve us! Lovely cocktails and amazing food! Lots of choice, not much for vegetarians but what there is it’s very nice! Recommend to anyone! Good prices also!

A surprisingly funky, hip, modern place right in the heart of downtown Prague. The food is we quite good, the prices aren’t bad for the center, but really it’s the staff and offbeat atmosphere that make this place a winner. This place would be right at home in San Francisco ‘s SOMA district. But it’s in Prague!

Decent ramen spot. I didn’t think I’d find ramen in prague but when I did I had to try it. The broth was ok at first but got better toward the end/bottom as everything sat and cooked in it more. It needed a little spice but they only had sriracha which didn’t taste quite right with the broth. The pork in it was good but not as flavorful as some others I’ve had. It was a big bowl and hot. They don’t have a veggie ramen but they have a veggie yakisoba which I tried and liked more than the ramen. There’s really nice outdoor seating and fun cocktails.

This place draws you in with the cute furniture, handwritten menu with little drawings of ramen bowls and of course the cotton candy stand :) The food was delicious and fresh, the domaci voda with cucumber and lime was great. Minus one star for being much more pricy than expected. The location couldn’t be better. A good choice if you are right downtown and want quality do long as you don’t mind paying the price.

It’s hard not to love this bistro when you walk by and see the mismatched furniture, open glass front, and hipster waiters in black and white striped shirts with blue overalls. The food is delicious, the homemade ice tea is delicious. And it’s definitely worst a visit. But the prices are definitely too high for the value. You can get similar or better quality food at other Asian places nearby like Zebra, for less. I also wish they had a lunch menu. I guess that’s one of the downsides of being located right near the center. But definitely a great find especially for tourists because just a couple restaurants down, towards mustek the menus are even pricier but the food is terrible and the service is rude. So the Kitchen is definitely worth a visit.

This place is great. It has an industrial loft vibe in the center of a vibrant area. My friend and I each ordered ramen in pork broth, the fried rice from the summer menu, and an order of gyoza. It was all delicious. It’s a little pricey, but it’s to be expected in an area like this, and the portions were a good size. I’ll be back again when craving ramen!

I first heard about this place from the NYT Travel article 36 hours in Prague. Being from California, I’ve had a huge craving for ramen for the longest time, and I set forth to find out whether or not this place was the real deal. Not bad. I ordered the tonkotsu ramen, and it had all the elements down. It had the fatty pork, the broth with sesame seeds, seaweed, a soft-boiled egg, ginger(although I’ve never had anyone put ginger in ramen), ramen noodles, etc. But just because you have everything… doesn’t mean that it works together well. The thing about ramen is that there are two important components – the noodles and the soup. In this situation, the noodles were not legit ramen noodles(as to be expected. it is Prague after all) and just flat regular, not so chewy noodles. The tonkotsu broth had great potential, but I think it lost its flavor given all the other messy elements in it. So. while it was a well assembled bowl of ramen, the taste… eh. Not awful, but it wasn’t anything to rave about it. Final bill came out to be 239kc which is alright given that it’s smack in Mustek so what would you expect? While I can’t rave about the ramen, it does the trick for solving my cravings for ramen. I’m quite a fan of the menu – I saw some chicken karaage amongst a lot of other classic Japanese dishes so that’s worth going to and trying out. I have been really struggling with the rating. It really just strikes me as a 3 star place, but I’m tempted to give it a 4 because I know I’ll be back to try out some of the other dishes. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt and rate it a 4 unless my future visits are even more lackluster. Plus, it’s the best I can find in Prague, so that counts for something. tldr; ramen in Prague. not great, but not terrible. it’ll do
