Found this place on Unilocal and was around the corner from the hotel so gave it a try. Place had a good crowd and great atmosphere. We ended up in the basement which turned out to be great spot for a few beers. Service was Excellent. I would come bake here on my next trip to Prague. They take crowns and euros.

We had a good draft beer and the waiter was very nice. Showed us other interesting locations on a map. We didn’t have anything to eat though.

Delicious food, reasonable prices, and dark beer on draft. A trifecta of goodness. This place is easy to miss, but we happened upon it while we were out wandering one day and have been back twice. It’s a traditional bar and we noticed it is right across the street from a police station, and filled with those employees and other locals, so you know it’s gotta’ be good. So far we’ve enjoyed: 1. Pork knee roasted in dark beer and served with mustard, horseradish, and bread. This was a special along with two pilsners, and so large we would have been fine just ordering one for the two of us. We had so much meat leftover we ate it for three more meals that week. Yum! 2. Roasted goose leg with red cabbage and dumplings. Very tender and delicious. I would get this again. 3. Slow roasted pork belly served with mashed potatoes and sour cream sauce. This was good and a huge portion(much more than you would receive in the States), but the outer half was somewhat dry. Perhaps it was just an off day. 4. Master on draft. We love our dark beer and this is tasty with a good head. Next time we go I would like to try the Norwegian salmon and Beef cheeks. Check out the history page on their website. Parts of the building are old, real old, with quite an interesting back story.

Delicious beer, affordable prices, and yummy food. Almost missed this spot on the way back to our hotel but glad we didn’t. We got Brie with cranberry to start and of course the whole thing was devoured. For our main course we got the porkchop with green beans and baked potato. What a hearty meal. The green beans were the best I’ve ever had and that not an exaggeration. My husband got the schnitzel and it was awesome. Fried but not overly greasy, the meat was so tender and juicy! Great place to grab a bite and they had clean restrooms!
