La Bottega Gastronomica

Knowing this place for a long time already and it’s worth coming back for dinner or even to get some cake and sweets there. I like who the equipped the place and their love to details. Try the chicken but not late at night. They offer a big choice of cheese variations and I like their salads.

I came here for breakfast on a Sunday morning and it was really nice. Got the Eggs Benedict on a Bagel, which was cooked just right and very aesthetically pleasing. The bagel had just the right crisp and the egg had the right runny-​ness. Compared to other breakfast places around the area, it’s definitely pricier and the portions are smaller, but well worth it in my opinion. If you’re looking for an extremely filling breakfast though, this might not be your place.
The environment of the place is quite interesting — even though the food is plated aesthetically and of higher quality, unlike it’s peers, it has a coffee shop because of all the wooden tables.
Haven’t been here for lunch but the menu looks good!

This place is one of a kind. If you are in Prague, you need to visit for a glass of wine, some cheese and an espresso. The staff is very knowledgeable on wines of the world and how to pair cheeses and wine. The food is delicious and desserts are perfect. I can’t say enough good things about my experience here. We came late on a Sunday night and they laid out a very warm welcome and fed us and served our every need. Give them your business, you won’t regret it.

Super. Rien à dire d’autre. Des repas de pâtes fraîches à composer, du lunch au breakfast, spécialités à emporter, épicerie fine, bonnes patisseries. Bref un repère immanquable pour les amoureux de cuisine italienne.
Le service est aussi irréprochable.

Loved this café! The staff was very amicable. The décor is cozy but modern. They have a lot of imported wines and a counter full of delicacies.
I went for breakfast on Sunday morning. My coffee was excellent, as was the pain au chocolat.
It’s super close to the Žižkov TV Tower, and you can go ice skating in the winter after visiting Gastronomica.

Oops can’t believe I never reviewed this place. I came here awhile back with some Unilocalers actually and had an awesome experience. We got a nice salami/​cured meat platter with some yummy cheese and bread! For my meal, I ordered rabbit which was exquisite and perfectly cooked. It came with a nice vegetable sauce and potato wedges. Atmosphere here is pretty solid and from what I could tell, my friends certainly enjoyed the wine selection here. They also have a really nice selection of desserts and cakes that I wasn’t able to try, but you can get takeaway and my friends really liked them. Price was on the higher end, but for the quality of the food I was getting, it was totally worth it.
tldr; very good Italian place for not necessarily just pasta/​pizza but dishes with more variety. highly recommend!

Staying at an apartment way out here was hindering at first ’cause not walking distance from Prague sights. So we did not eat around here until our last night in town. Glad we did, though. This restaurant near TV Tower was fantastic. Had Lasagne Bolognese as 1^st course. Delicious. Then followed up with a roasted chicken with vegetables. On the surface, that doesn’t sound like anything out of the ordinary. But when you’ve been traveling for a month and want something flavorful yet familiar, this was perfect.
Ambience was great. Small, but well decorated and comfortable. Staff was great, too. English speaking and very cool. Glad we didn’t eat at Wenceslas Square, which is way too touristy.

What can be better than a night out with your friends in one of the most amazing trendy Italian restaurants in the city? Gastronomica is a beautiful, creative, modern and cozy place to have your breakfast/​lunch/​dinner at!
I totally admired the quality of food and wine! It was really Belissimo :)
Great centralized location is a huge advantage, and view on Zizkov TV tower is another plus this restaurant has.

OH HOLY LORD! I have no idea where to start with this little gem of an Italian Deli on the edge of Vinohrady and Zizvok. I mean sure, it is another one of those places I want to keep to myself. Unfortunately, I don’t have the money or the inclination to let my waistline go to support this new church of foodie heaven by myself.
I went with the lovely Misha, and man can she pick the places. I had the ravioli with spinach and ricotta she had the muscles and I want to bathe in both of them. Seriously both were like a little bit of paradise in my mouth. Then there was the tarts. OH SWEET MOTHER OF FRUITY TARTS!!! Sorry. It is just really good food inspires me to be hyperbolic.
I must say, you too will feel that way if you venture here for some yummy yummy treats. Oh yeah. They do take away.

Gatronomica je náhradní provozovnou za původní Bodeguittu di Aromi.
Nestává se příliš často, aby «2. díl byl lepší néž ten první».
Zde je to pravdou hned z několika důvodů:
1. Gastronomica je podstatně větší a nabízí širší sortiment néž původní lahůdkářství v Mánesově ulici.
2. Kromě studeného buffetu, uzenin a sýrů, mají v nabídce lahodné sladkosti, pestré snídaně a pak po celý den grilovaná vodňanská kuřata.
3. Otevřeno je zde přes týden od osmi ráno do devíti večer, v sobotu od devíti do devíti a v neděli od devíti ráno do čtyř odpoledne. Tedy výrazně větší nakupovací čas a prostor :)
4. Selekce vín je snad ještě lepší néž v původní Bodeguittě !
5. K sezení je zde cca. 30 míst, což Vám umožní se pohodlně najíst, v případě, že máte vlčí hlad a nevydržíte se s nákupem tahat domů.
6. Kolem Ondříčkové 17 lze mnohem pohodlněji parkovat, néž kolem původní provozovny v Mánesově.
7. Mám pocit, že je tam za pultem víc roztomilých italských kluků ;)
Zatím zkrátka nevidím jediný důvod si toto místo nezamilovat :)
