Ate the pork leg, a bit pricey for Cz but still very cheap in my country standards. The dish was huge, the meat fell of the bone like butter. Great service and superb food

I went to this place to eat by accident. I is an interesting atmosphere. There is a band that plays, old time music. A couple of horns, a banjo, soft drums, interesting to say the least. The beer is good, the servers seem friendly. The food was ok. I had a combo of duck, sausage, rib, and chicken. It was cooked well but it was bland. I was hoping for more…

The food is okay– clearly a place for tourists. Outside signs promote at beer restaurant with 50 beers but they have only a few on tap. Everything else in bottles. A little disappointing.

The only thing worth noting here is that the food is ok. Other than that this is just a tourist trap. Went in and was seated after I bypassed the ‘wait to be seated’ sign I’d been standing at for a few minutes. I was seated by a girl in an ill fitting dress I can only assume was traditional garb. It was way too kitschy for me, but I digress. I was greeted by a waiter who clearly disliked Americans. He was snide and standing on the edge of petulant. Once I got my drink and food ordered I saw him once more to ask him to please clear my dinner that I had finished 10 minutes earlier. Other than that, nothing. Didn’t ask if I needed anything, if the food was good, nothing. That’s why I let out a huge laugh when the waitress asked if I wanted to include a tip. Sorry if I disturbed anyone, it was unavoidable. The goulash was ok and the salad was fine, but you can find much more authentic and with zero of the attitude around the block.

Dining Date March 24, 2015 for dinner. Good place for czech food and beer. The pork knee was large and loaded with tender meat that fell off the bone. Terrific beer list but mostly bottled beer. Only a couple of beers on tap. Good selection of appetizers that can be shared with the whole table. Service is very good and attentive.

Good place for beer and food. Over two visits I had appetizers of steamed frankfurters with mustard and another with smoked sausages in a tomato sauce along with groin grabbingly good drafts of local Czech pilsners.

Good food. Certain dishes really are large portions! I’ve never photographed a meal before, but the Roast Duck with Dumpling was so big I placed an iPhone 5 beside it for scale. Nice ambience with live music in the evening. They vast selection of beers, wines, spirits and cocktails fills more pages of menu than the food! Friendly staff, even if they are a little forceful with their recommendations… We noticed the waiter was as emphatic with the people at the next table about the duck and dumplings… Or maybe they just had a serious dumpling surplus.

Came here for drinks and a snack. Very large restaurant, but annoyed they placed upstairs just because we weren’t eating a full meal. A huge menu, and the food looked great, but we had just eaten. Instead we indulged in fries(always good!) and a meat plate with our drinks. Service was very attentive, and indoor smoking area downstairs.
A very interesting beer house and restaurant located close to Palladium and Namesti Republiky. The place has a modern interior with a lot of empty different beer bottles as a part of décor; their large menu book has an enormous cover and offers traditional Czech cuisine. The portions are also traditionally big and the meals are tasty. Besides, this restaurant has a great choice of beer including German, Belgian, American, French and even Australian types. The waiters are friendly and speak English.

Traditional food. We ordered beer, pork knee and potato cake(hope you like sauerkraut!). Really good ambience. There was a live band on a Wednesday night! Waiters are friendly and speak English. Dinner came out to € 26 ~$ 32CDN.

Traditional Czech food, tastes fantastic! All of our dishes were delicious. Good recs from the waitstaff and decent service. Beers were also very good. Not pricey and fun ambiance. Can’t say much about the band as they only play at night, but they are reputed to be good.

The food is traditional Czech food which was reasonably priced and pretty good. The portions are very large especially the mixed meat plate! Unfortunately the service was so horrible that it left a horrible experience for us overall. The atmosphere was like a beer hall and they did have an extensive selection.

Also die totale Touri-Abzocke. Fazit: Essen und Ambietene OK. Preis-Leistung und Service: absolute Frechheit. KEINE Empfehlung.

I really enjoyed this place. My Buddy and I came here to eat before deciding what to do for the evening. Great meat platter for 2 and all the unique Belgium Style beers that are hard to find at home were here and some on tap. The staff was friendly and spoke english. I would come back again for sure.

This place is fantastic. Great food, good service and lots of great Beer. It has a Beer hall/pub atmosphere to it. Very low key, not too touristy. A live band plays blues/New Orleans style music on the weekends.
