The atmosphere in this sweet little French café on Jiřiho z Poděbrad is cozy and comfortable, and any place with reliable WIFI and a good chai latte on the menu wins me over pretty quickly.

Just down the street from mine and full of great coffee and good wine, this is another one of the perks of living in Zizkohrady. The staff is fast, efficient, and always polite. The soundtrack is slow, jazzy, and old school fabulous. The atmosphere reminds me of some of the places I would hang out when I lived in Paris. Needless to say I spend a lot of time here.

Pretty impressive small shop and café«two-in-one» with delicious French food and wine, located at Jiriho z Podebrad square and always super busy in the evenings. The prices are average and above average, but the snacks, bread, cheese, sweets and wine are worth it. Their coffee has a very ordinary taste in my opinion — at the same time this is not a coffee shop. The stuff is usually friendly with occasional exceptions. When it’s too crowded, it can get loud and a bit uncomfortable, because the place is small, but they do make an effort to serve you fast.

So here it is, my first review on Unilocal! The first time I have participated in Unilocal event at Le Caveau wine place. Though I have been here before a week ago with my friend Mishka Plesnikova(who is a Community Manager, by the way!), and I really liked this place. First of all, they have my favourite white wine«Chablis» that I could have never found anywhere«draught» in Prague. Perfect ambiente, nice people around and«just as should be» atmosphere to meet with friends. The only thing that spoils a bit the place is the service. I would expect them to be more smiley and friendly serving this perfect wine. Nevertheless, I think, I will be an often guest there since now on!

This place did not touch my heart I agree they have good wine, good choice of cakes and sweets, they are in a perfect location. But what I do not like here is service. Their girls are more or less OK, even though not very friendly. But the worst one is a long haired male who obviously does not like his job. I am sorry that such a great place is ruined by its people. But it is common in many other places in the Czech Republic …
