At our last Day in Prag we were lookin for a good Restaurant and we got it. Very good and much food. Prices are normal and absolutly ok for what you got. The location is comfortable and nice. Everybody who wants to have a great lunch is here at the right place.

Great casual dinner with beer. Assorted meats with cabbage and dumplings was excellent.

Went there for an evening snack. Looks rather fancy from the outside. They have mainstream Czech beer, hot beverages, cakes and sandwiches for OK prices for tourists.

This restaurant is rather big and well-known, however I personally do not really like it. There is nothing that special about this place. The interior is simple and as such I believe what makes it popular is its nice location right in Malostranske Namesti. I have been to couple of events here and I believe that rather than visiting this place for a beer, it is better to come here for eg. a company event as the space provides great opportunity to combine dining with a concert or dancing.

Amazing restaurant — favorite with the locals. Outstanding Sevice and food; View of St. Nicholas Church from the curbside seating is perfect. Very reasonable pricing… A steal if you factor in the flavor of the food, and the location. I had a half liter of their recommended Czech beer and it was perfectly crisp, cold, and smooth. We ordered double mold cheese and beef tartare for appetizers, which is served with delicious fried toast. Each of the 2 dishes was perfect. Strong flavors yet balanced seasoning. Freshness of the beef came through in every bite. Simply flawless. For the entrees, we ordered the pork knuckle and duck, which were finger licking good. The duck(not too gamey at all) is served with pickled cabbage and the pork with slaw, mustard, and horseradish cream sauce. These were ideal accompaniments for the masterfully prepared meats, and enhanced the already magnificent flavors. The service cannot be complimented enough… We went there with our 2 year old and our server Jaroslav went far out of his way to assist us in keeping the toddler busy throughout the meal. He would appear with these puzzles and felt tip pens at regular intervals to keep her excited and occupied, as we actually got a chance to enjoy our meal. He is truly a gem of a guy, and an expert at customer service. Bravo and thanks Jaroslav. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough. Just the best example of the anti tourist trap :) We plan to go back again tomorrow!

Service was not up to expectations and way below standards. Food is good, waiter very unprofessional, forgot simple requests like a bottle of water, was taking his time making guests irritated.

Never have I ever felt discriminated anywhere. Servers downstairs and upstairs were sooooo rude. Never knew racism still existed. Denied our service before we could say one word by simply saying«no.» I would not recommend this place to any tourist.

Great Czech food located a short walk from Prague Castle. Meat heavy like most Czech restaurant though. Goose leg was surprisingly tender. Beef goulash makes a great starter. My friend enjoyed his salmon tagliatelle.

Great lunch. Recommend in the Rick Steve’s guide book. Had the small salad — very fresh and not that small — and the baked chicken on a bed of smashed potatoes.

A nice and cosy typical Czech place with good service and standard quality of food. The choice of meals is not too big, but they are quite tasty. The location is touristy, however, the prices are rather medium considering that Prague Castle is just in 10 min walk.

Walking back from touring Praha(and the St Charles Bridge), my friends and I were famished. We did not want to eat in a typical touristy restaurant, but our selections seemed limited. We selected the restaurant based on the menu and were not disappointed, great traditional Czech cuisine, beer, dessert — all at an affordable price. We started off with 1 liter of the local pils(Pilsner Urquell), as typical of Czech, the local brew was cheaper than the coffee. We started the evening with goulash and duck pâté. I had the roast duck — excellent. My friends had the traditional roast beef — his was excellent as well. For dessert, we tried a local dish, fruit(strawberry) boiled in a dumpling with whipped cream. When our bill arrived, we were surprised at the affordability of our meal. Truly worth considering visiting and eating in the restaurant. As a side note, you know that the place is good because while we were dining, we sat next to a table with nuns! Yes nuns! So if the place is good enough for those that serve God, the place is good for me too!

War lecker, aber auch nicht Spitzenklasse. Preis — Leistungsverhältnis war in Ordnung.
