GREAT food! The hotdogs are extremely flavorful and there is a nice variety to choose from. Everything is decently priced for the quality that you get. One issue was that the sliders(mini burgers) were quite under-cooked one time for me, however, it is possible to ask the chef to cook to your taste. Overall a fantastic restaurant!

Was there at the opening, many people around, good atmosphere, nice concept, but overall for what it is, it seems to be a little overpriced. Otherwise quite ok.

Prague has discovered the American hot dog, and these guys are putting on the best show so far. Of the new hot dog places in town, Mr. Hot Dog offers up the most authentic experience, and is a welcome spot for Euro-weary Americans. They have transformed what used to be one of the skankiest bars in Prague into a little oasis of Americana. THEDOGS: The beef dogs are slightly more flavourful than the pork, but both are grilled wonderfully. The sauerkraut is fresh and tart(and the dill pickles are actually dill), the chili is a Texas-style meat sauce, the Coney Island Dog is a beautiful combo of meat sauce, onions and yellow mustard, and the Chicago Style Dog is phenomenal — complete with a poppy seed bun and celery salt. All buns are toasted nicely on the grill. Plus there’s chopped onion and real sweet relish on hand for to to slather your dog to your heart’s content with. NON-DOGS: The cheese fries could not possibly be better — crispy, thin potato strips with real cheddar baked on top and perfect seasoning. And the sliders — oh, the sliders. Very probably the best in town and a contender for best burger in Prague. They are absolute perfection, and everyone who has one takes a bite, the flavour hits their mouth, they regard the slider again, as if to say«How can something so small pack such a taste punch?» and then they settle in to contented chomping. DRINKS: Weirdly, they offer cocktails — one of the best bloody marys in town, and excellent margaritas. They also have homemade iced tea, and filter-drip coffee. The one thing they don’t have is tap beer — only Pilsner in a can(which I dislike). Maybe that will change. Basically, these guys are the winners, if we have to look at the new influx of hot dog places in town as a competition. And I say that not only because they are LITERALLY next door to me. They deeply care about what they are doing, and really«get» the whole concept. And they sure know how to cook. And they are open until 22h, Wednesday to Sunday.
