Šmeralova is a great place for coffee lovers, and you can’t go wrong with Nacafe. They’ve got a very friendly, low-key vibe, a delightfully furnished and comforting downstairs chill-out room, and a breezy patio. This place is open basically all day, which is good, because they’ve got great boozy drinks too – I recommend you spike your coffee if you’re feeling like letting loose, or try their excellent selection of IPA’s(something of a rarity here in Prague). There’s a decent tapas selection, and desserts as well, although I personally haven’t partaken in either as of yet. They’re masters of setting the mood here – the jazz they’ve got piping through the sound system is perfect and it really makes time fly by. This is a great place to venture out to, for a morning pick-me-up, an afternoon rendezvous, or for inundating yourself for a long night on the town. They make a really strong Irish coffee, wow!
