Worst boat tour ever: no narration, shortcutting the route, lots of idling, return to dock early… A rip off!

I had a chance to take a boat tour in Prague. In terms of the actual boat itself, it was relatively cozy and there really is something calming and charming when it comes to taking a nice little river tour during lunch time. The food on the boat was okay. Nothing particularly amazing and it was really 2-star quality IMO. A few of the dishes were decent but a lot of it felt like cafeteria food. But then again it is what it is. However the experience itself and the tour was a four star one. Average the meh food with the great boat ride and it’s a solid 3 stars overall. Personally I think if you want to have a nice relaxing afternoon or evening and want to view Prague from a different point of view, taking a boat tour is actually a decent option. Considering how much I walked during my few days in that beautiful city, the boat tour turned out to be a much needed respite. It was cool to just sit back, relax and take in the views as opposed to walking around all day and having sore legs. I would say, do the boat tour if you’re in the mood for something different and very visually stimulating. However, don’t do it if the food is the main reason why you want to hop on the boat. You can do way better by picking a decent place to eat in the city before or after the trip.

Great time! Beautiful views and courteous wait staff. I would not recommend the Prague by Night buffet dinner. Very cafeteria-like food. The full service or dessert package may be a better bet. Good wines and cocktails!
