Dining date July 29, 2015 for lunch Fun location at the Yacht Club on the river. There is a small daily menu that is limited but the food is very good. The pork chop was thick and juicy, served with a generous portion of mashed potatoes. A large Bernard unfiltered Pilsner was the perfect match with my meal. Note English was not available, but translation is relatively easy given the small lunch menu.

Veggie Diary: River Side Story There’s a reason for Podolka to be well known to the wide public. Having large vegetarian menu may be the one but I personally like the close-up river view as it’s not much common around here. Besides, Podolka fits to those kind of places that is acceptable for most of society due to its simply interior in sport style. Meals: Most of menu suits for vegetarians, not much for vegans though. We had Hummus Variation with radish fingers & Tomato Soup as starters. Well-balanced hummus won by a wide margin over the average pesto flavoured soup. For the main course we had Beetroot Steak With Balsamic Onions + Tofu-Eggplant Stuffed Roasted Green Peppers. Both meals were good. To conclude: Not quite sure if to recommend but it is true that meals are fine, the view’s great. 3.5* Tip: Podolka has 2 restaurants with the same name. The one is easily reachable from the city centre by tram 3⁄17(station Podolska Vodarna). The other one is far away so you better go by car/taxi.
