Great atmosphere, ordered the Boston and jack Daniel’s burger was really tasty. The staff is friendly. Price was alright.

Good atmosphere, beer Starosta tastes nice, good prices, staff was very caring. Only negatives — you cannot pay by card and due to the mistake in the order, the food was cold, otherwise we enjoyed it.

I´ve been to this place twice. Evening time. The location is great for people travelling through Masarykovo train station. The first time food was ok, beer decent BUT the staff was just tragic. Because we were not able to decide what we want to order in first two minutes after arival we were overlooked for another 15 mins before a waiter mercifully took our order. There were 3 staff members, the waiter who took our order, who´se attitude didn´t get better the whole visit, and two girls who seemed afraid of customers… it was pretty annoying. Anyway in another two moths we decided to try again, the same waiter, not only unattentive but rude this time. This time my friend´s food was good, but my burger was a disappointement — dry meat, burnt bun. Definitelly the worst of all was the staff again so, not thank you, not seeing us again. PS obviously they(he) were able to be nice to their foreign costumers so it won´t be just a lack of capability.

TASTY and great value for money. I woke this morning with the hope of eating healthy today, then I stumbled upon ‘Tom’s Burgers’. If you’re a burger fanatic then this is the place for you. Tom’s delivers everything you want from a burger joint: a large variety of choices, substantial amounts, juicy fresh meals and burgers that don’t fall apart in your hands. I couldn’t fault a thing. Would personally recommend the Boston burger.

I went here for late lunch around 3pm on Saturday with Slevomat voucher, which entitled me to have one burger and British beer. The restaurant was completely empty. I had a Boston burger with fries. The burger is very big and tastes really great. It contains everything you could expect — meat, bacon, onions, cheese etc. I also had a British ale beer, but I haven’t seen this beer in the regular menu. They have Starosta beer in the menu. I also had a Mexican guava lemonade, but it was too sweet as I ordered it together with dessert. There is only 1 type of dessert. It’s a banana wrapped in sweet fried tortilla. It was ok for the price, but nothing special. The service is good, but maybe because there were nobody inside. They also have free wifi and a TV. Overall, I would recommend this place.

This burger joint looked very promising, and by Prague standards serves *very* good burgers, but ultimately failed to deliver on the overall experience. On the plus side are first of all the burgers — great buns, tasty garnish, good quality of meat and done just right– lots of juice with a tasty pink middle. The place also has a very relaxed and casual atmosphere– even the huge plastic cow covered in flashing Christmas lights which stands in front of the bar somehow fits in nicely. What let me down was first of all the service. Although friendly, they were quite slow and not very organized– just in the short 40 minutes during my visit they ‘forgot’ about two tables and let them just sit there for ages. And the restaurant was half empty. Also the presentation of the food could be improved– my burger arrived casually thrown on a too large of a plate, with no garnish except for the oily fingerprints all over it. The chicken strips coated in cornflakes were fresh and well made, but a little bit bland — I wish the chef would marinate the meat a bit to make it really stand out. In summary — if you want a tasty burger in Prague, this is a great place to go, but be warned that overall it is still a far cry from the experience you would get in a true American burger joint.

I have been to other Tom’s burgers, but never had a burger there, so I figured I would head to the other location to try out their burgers. I will say this. Nice bun. Quality meat. Generous toppings. I got the chilli burger which was a little spicy, but never enough for me! The inside is nicely decorated and has a very relaxed atmosphere. The staff is friendly and the server/cashiers usually speak english as well as czech. I was even practicing my czech on the guy, He was nice about it too! haha. I will surely come back here in the near future :-)
