Lavande is a very nice restaurant with chilled atmosphere and great meals as well as drinks. It is a great place for family dinners or evenings with friends. I can definitely recommend it especially if you are looking for a great place in the Smichov area.

Had dinner here our first night in Prague. My husband had the gnocchi with chicken and I had the roast chicken with risotto, both dishes were excellent. Restaurant is very clean and well taken care of, food is also all homemade. Be sure to ask for the English menu, they have one.

I would not categorize this restaurant under Gluten Free or Veg. It has both of those options, but it’s more of a contemporary Italian and Czech restaurant.
My husband and I have an airbnb not far, and we have eaten here two nights in a row… The food is absolutely excellent and much higher than the Unilocal rating would lead you to believe. My husband is a huge fan of the food, and he grew up in San Francisco where their food quality is very high… He has very tough standards. I’m a big foodie myself.
Don’t be fooled by the poor rating and don’t miss Lavande. Everything has been top notch.

Came here for a burger and they made it wrong and put a bunch of unwanted sauce on it. I asked the waiter if I could get one with out sauce, a different bun, etc just to get rid of most the sauce. Instead they threw out my burger and charged me for the one that they threw out and said if I wanted another one I would have to pay for two. Will not be back.
